I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne in December 2024 and had an amazing experience. The central location made it easy to explore the city, and the luxurious rooms were spotless and offered incredible city views. The staff provided exceptional service, always warm and attentive, ensuring all my needs were met. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The hotel’s facilities, including the gym and spa, were world-class, adding to the luxurious experience. From check-in to check-out, everything was flawless. Highly recommend!

This hotel is all about its central location. It’s close to everything!!! Our room and bathroom were clean and large. For a 5 star hotel it was disappointing that there was no turn down service. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the Australian Open and MCG.

Excellent hotel - Well positioned in central Melbourne - 5 minutes walk from the station - 2minutes from the tram - high calibre shopping almost next door with all top marques nearby - well maintained & efficiently staffed lounge - stadiums within 15 minutes walk/tram.

Stayed two nights for our anniversary on the 25th floor on a city view room. We arrived early and were asked if we wanted an upgrade for $200 a night to a ready made room. We said no thanks but then was told our room was actually ready, I’m fine with being asked for an upgrade but we did feel it was a bit of a cheap sale given our room was ready but only told after the fact. Room was spacious for how it’s presented. We did find the bed not the most comfortable but it wasn’t bad. Bathroom was good but a rather small shower space. The gym at the hotel is actually amazing, one of the best we’ve used in general. There is also a small pool but we never used it. We were a bit disappointed that breakfast was going to cost on upwards of $55 per head given the price of the room we paid for, it would of been nice if there was a discount for guests regardless of room choice. Overall an enjoyable stay, but we don’t know if we would choose it again given the competition and perks of other hotels in the area.

My kids and I had a fabulous 3 nights at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne. Firstly the location, which is in what I feel is the best part of Melbourne. An easy walk to the mall, Federation square and Flinders street train station and close to some fabulous restaurants. We were early for check in but there was a room available to us which was a pleasant surprise. The beds are so comfortable, even the roll away my youngest slept on. Very quiet air con and no fridge buzzing noise made for a great nights sleep. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with what I feel is one of the most extensive range of options I’ve seen. We got lucky as was included in our room cost, making our stay such great value for money. The staff could not be faulted, with everyone we encountered friendly and helpful. Would most definitely love to stay here again.
