Pan Pacific Melbourne

We were given a handicap room because we checked in early. The room has one small sitting chair, we asked for another and were told no others are available. So for three days we have only one comfy chair along w a desk chair to sit. This seems poor service.

Absolutely fabulous stay at the Pan Pacific. Loved all of the staff. So friendly and helpful. We booked a club room for 2 nights and thought the club lounge was extremely good for breakfast, canapés and for early evening drinks. The location of the hotel is perfect. We had a room on the 17th floor. Great views over the River Yarra. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we will certainly stay there again if the opportunity arises.

My husband and I stayed 4 night at Pan Pacific Melbourne in their Premier King Room with City View. We had a lovely time at this hotel ... great service and beautiful interior. Pro: - awesome view of the river from our room with their floor to ceiling windows - great big beautiful bathroom with separate tub and shower, and separate toilet with a door - awesome breakfast buffet with lots of selection and the restaurant staff were super sweet - lots of shopping and restaurants in area ... great to walk along the river - perfect for a morning run - a number of bus tour companies do pickup directly at this hotel Con: - the breakfast buffet does get super busy on the weekends and holidays so you may have to wait to be seated - the only road to the hotel gets super busy during conventions because it leads to the convention hall parking complex ... all the cars got jammed at the parking entrance

Had a great memory when Pan Pacific just took the property over from Hilton in early 2018, but this time was not the same story. The amenities were lack of maintenance, and the service was poor. The pillows were soft and not supportive at all. The staff promised to send some other firmer pillows but did not show up at all. The shower space does not come with a door (enclosure) , which might be ok at hot seasons, but could be a issue when doing shower in winters. Would not come back again when next time visiting Melbourne.

We just stayed at the Pan Pacific, and had a mixed stay. On January 26th for one night. Firstly I wanted to say that the staff are wonderful, great customer service and welcoming. When we arrived, we were allowed our room early as we had joined the loyalty program. We were informed there were no city view rooms available but were placed on a high floor. We settled into our stay and unpacked our belongings. After a while we turned on the television and found the colour to be a bright blue. We rang through and were told maintenance would be coming up. We were then informed that we would be moving to a new room - and albeit it was a lovely city view room - it was a bit inconvenient having to pack all our items back up again. Our new room did not have 2 long glasses (only one ) and there were tears/small holes in the sheet. We never did receive our birthday complimentary amenity as the email had said. We then went to level 14’s ice room, only to find it was not working after coming back and forward from the room. We had to call once again and await ice to be delivered (which was very prompt) All in all our stay was absolutely lovely, and it is a beautiful hotel, but I think it should be noted that room 1605 had a tv that does not work properly and guests should be told before given that room. We received a complimentary 12.00 chekc out. Shower pressure was amazing. Bed very comfortable as were pillows. View one was room 1605 View two was room 1414
