Pan Pacific Melbourne

Stayed here with my kids and it was really good. Lovely room with good amenities and nice buffet breakfast. The tv claimed to be able to stream your Own streaming services but this didn’t work very well. Also, and this was just one person, but the person serving the free champagne on Friday afternoon did not serve my wife and I and death stared us on the 3 times we walked past during the afternoon, making us feel like we didn’t belong. We had 4 young boys but they were well behaved and he made us feel quite unwelcome which left a bad taste. This is one person - but the rest of the team and the location and ammenities were great. I would consider staying again if wanting something in that vicinity.

From the doorman throughout our stay all the staff were most polite and welcoming. We had club room, so this is basis of my review. Excellent sized room with city skyline view over Yarra. Breakfasts had adequate choices and being Dairy free, I was looked after without fuss. Perfect location on south side of river for restaurants and amenities. Enjoyed many ‘tourist’ activities throughout our stay. My only negative comment being the four lifts ( we were on 16th floor) were extremely temperamental, to the point that only one was working…it had a mind of its own but it was working! A member of staff apologised and advised they awaited lift company arrival. However the four nights of our stay it remained this way. Some quirky artwork displays. Definitely return to hotel next time in this city.

A great staycation combined with a day at the Australian Open. 2 nights were spent in the Yarra Suite with Club Lounge access. The room was very spacious, and quiet. Club Lounge access was well worth the effort for the snacks and drinks. A special mention to server Michael S who bent over backwards to ensure everything was perfect for us, including a surprise birthday cake. Highly recommended

Very good location surrounded by restaurants and bars nice rooms but strange bathroom lighting situation as the bathroom has Lear doors so if one get up I’mn the night the lights are very bright in the bedroom it seems to be a qirk in Australia as it’s the second hotel that we have encountered this

The hotel is in a great location as it's an easy walk to many places of interest and not far from the free tram zone. I received excellent recognition as a Titanium Discovery Member: an early check in, a very generous accommodation upgrade and an offer of a 6PM check out. All staff members, throughout the premises, are friendly, helpful and efficient. The sizeable, comfortably furnished club lounge has a good selection of food and drinks. Breakfast in the restaurant includes a choice of items to suit all tastes. The Panoramic Suite is of considerable size and very well furnished, with a walk in robe, separate toilet and a large bathroom with a shower and bathtub. They now also have eco-friendly toiletry dispensers. The full length windows, with blackout blinds, offer magnificent views of the Yarra, the city skyline and beyond. All things considered this hotel is terrific value for money.
