Pan Pacific Melbourne

Beautifully appointed rooms, helpful staff in a tranquil environment. We had a lovely buffet breakfast & later canopes in a relaxed lounge atmosphere. Close to public transport to the city centre and next to the convention area & DFO. Very quiet rooms with a great outlook over the docklands & city waterways. Comfortable beds with a full sized bath and separate shower. Highly recommended!

Generally a good experience with a major housekeeping problem. the counter staff and service one services were good. we had no problems with any of our requests. but every time we came back to the hotel the tables were very dusty. so we would tell the staff to get the housekeeping to wipe it. but the housekeeping team never did. it is as if they were blind to see that surfaces were dusty. From the pictures below, you can see the amount of dust that was accumulated for 8 days. if you are a housekeeper coming to a room and seeing this and not cleaning it, i think Pan Pacific should really consider changing your house keeping team. Or rather, give them basic training on how to clean. When we feedback this to Fathema with the pictures, she took immediate action on Day 9. They complimented us with free fruits and drinks and saw to the issue to make sure the room was cleaned well. We thank Fathema for seeing to this issue however the cleaniness of our room came abit too late towards the last lag of our stay. You are Pan Pacific and whoever is in charge of the house keeping team has to take responsibility for the housekeeping team's lack of responsibility and proactiveness to upload the reputation of Pan Pacific. for Singaporean families, while this hotel is convenient, to park and to shop, if the cleaniness of the rooms remains like this, you have to report it to the staff or take a cheaper option in CBD for a better and cleaner stay. We also would like to thank Ms Bora. Ms Bora went out of her way to help our child fix her robot toy and she displayed the attributes of what Pan Pacific holds. For that, we thank Ms Bora for your proactiveness and Ms fathema for her immediate response after seeing the dire state of our room.

We stayed at the Pan Pacific last weekend for my Birthday and being a GHA Discovery Titanium member were given an upgrade to the Pacific Club Room. When we arrived to the room, I found some lovely surprise goodies for my Birthday. The room was large, clean and had awesome views of the city. The blackout blinds are the best ensuring a great night’s sleep and I love the pillow menu options available. Every staff member we spoke to was lovely, greeted us warmly and were very professional. The Club Lounge evening canapes and drinks included are fantastic with a great variety and a friendly barman. The breakfast downstairs has the best variety you could ask for including an omelette station. Everything about this hotel is amazing and we will not stay anywhere else. We have stayed at many hotels in the CBD and find that the Pan Pacific is the best there is. We have already booked our next stay in February and can’t wait. Thanks again Pan Pacific for another wonderful stay.

Great 5 star hotel option in Melbourne, the location is relaxed but still close to the majority of key Melbourne sights etc. Numerous restaurants and bars on the door step. Service is amazing, from a very warm welcome upon walking in, to the fabulous front desk staff and throughout the hotel. Nothing is “too hard”. Real can do attitude. Room product, outstanding. Immaculate throughout. On this visit I was lucky enough to enjoy the Pacific Club and associated benefits. Fabulous Club Lounge. Has to be one of Melbourne’s best. Huge. Lovely breakfast and canapés during the evening reception. Already looking forward to my next 2025 stay at this 5 star property.

I stayed here as I had an event at the MCC. Only reason you would stay here. It is not a 5-star hotel, more a 4, but still is a very nice stay and my stay was perfectly clean. The view is great of the river and city, so get a city view. Staff were friendly. Food average. Had dinner at Bangpop Thai on the water instead and was the best thai. Would 100% stay here again if had to go to MCC event. I stay at Pan Pacific all over the world and this was fine, but not the highest in standards - very dated, not modern yet fine.
