Hu. Hotel

The roof top bar is the place to be with Gina. Then Chief Rhumbi can whip some of the best Memphis wings. 10 out of 10 for them! They treat you like family there. Do not you feel like a stranger. Beds are comfy and very clean place. Parking sucks for lifted truck but there is parking for them.

Comfortable room but no atmosphere in hotel. Some staff were not very engaged (some very nice). Room wasn't made up despite being asked and we were expected to go to lobby to get extra towels. We booked on understanding of a credit in the restaurant and never received this.

Bathroom shower floor I dare not stand on it with my bare feet for the 9 days at the Hu Hotel. I had to request ice from the Front desk because they did not have ice machine on any of the 15 floors- unacceptable The bed mattress was cave in the middle and lope side- this was unacceptable the trash can bags where only replace 4 of the 9 days I was there. The biggest and most unacceptable compliant is that 6 out the 9 days I had go to the front desk and request bathing towels because the cleaning crew would leave any in my room. I spoke with other that was staying there and they were having the issues. I am requesting reimbursement because I did not get full services especially for the price they charged me.

No microwave in the room is the only complaint I have with the hotel. Other than that it was a satisfying experience. Also, our room was next to a loading dock or area that between the hours of 4 and 6 a.m. there was a lot of unloading, back up alarms and truck noise.

Cons: The hotel ran out of towels and wash clothes between Tuesday and Friday morning. I wasn’t supplied with any fresh towels for the remainder of my trip which was Tuesday to Tuesday. I had to go out and purchase my own. The shower faucet was backwards so I ended up taking a cold shower the first night. Maintenance came the next day because it was still cold. He determined it was backwards. Pros- the rooms were spacious. The hotel is in a great location. Staff was friendly because I’m a friendly person and didn’t make rude demands. Disappointed due to paying so much for my stay yet not receiving service of using this space.
