Everything was so cozy and charming here, from the room to the view to the breakfast and the friendly service! We were a group of 10 (5 couples in our mid 50s) and we had a great time at Sea Rock Inn. The walk to town is an easy and pleasant 15 minutes. The views from the property are awesome but if you just walk 10 minutes to the Headlands, the views are truly spectacular. The daily breakfast was excellent, and included a protein, pastry, fruit cup, juice and coffee, all of which were presented beautifully. The bed was super comfy and the showers had great pressure and plenty of hot water. Total 10/10 stay!

Everything about Sea Rock Inn is amazing. You can't beat the view and everyone who works there is incredibly warm and welcoming. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony, watching the sun set each night. Our cabin was spacious and very cozy and the daily breakfast was delicious and delivered right to our door, allowing us to ease into the day. I can't wait to come back.

We had a wonderful three-night stay. I’d rate this place “perfect.” With another couple we rented units 11 & 12 which are adjacent on the second floor. They share a balcony so it was perfect with friends. Each has a bedroom and a sitting area. The view was amazing, looking out over the ocean. We all agreed that the inn got details right. The grounds were beautiful. The rooms were comfortable and nicely furnished. The breakfasts were tasty, e.g. this morning was fruit, quiche, and a pastry. Also, juice and coffee. The bed was comfortable and the place seemed new (or renovated). The staff was friendly & helpful, and operated like a well-oiled machine. We got good advice on restaurants and hikes — loved the Russian Gulch fern hike to the waterfall. We stayed in mid January so the town was quiet. The room came with a pair of binoculars— never had that. The office had brownies that could be snagged at any time — yummy. Addressing two comments we’ve seen: 1) yes, you can hear Rt 1 traffic — the inn backs up on it with some units closer than others, but we didn’t find it intrusive. 2) you can walk to town, but there is almost no shoulder in places; we found it fine during the daytime, but uncomfortable (albeit doable) at night. We walked from town one night after dark and a total of four cars came by — all gave us a wide berth. A complementary bottle (half bottle actually) greeted us on arrival. My wife liked the robe so much that she bought one.

Excellent! Location is perfect. Amazing service. Clean well kept rooms. The inside and outside is spotless. Landscaping is gorgeous. Cant wait to go back. Kate at the front desk was exceptional. Give this gal a raise! Actually every person we had interaction was great. Location is perfect too! I cannot think of anything that would make it better.

This was the highlight of our honeymoon. Everything abou the Sea Rock is perfect. We stayed in Room 12, with super-comfy bedding and an incredible sunset ocean view. The staff are so kind and helpful. They serve tea and fresh-baked brownies in the check-in office every day and give great recommendations for shopping, dining, and activities in the Mendocino area. My wife and I can't wait to go back to the Sea Rock Inn.

We purchased four nights at the Sea Rock Inn located in Medincino, California. It was cozy and picture perfect. We enjoyed the view of the Pacific/cliffs from our window every day and plan on returning in the warmer months to see the seasonal changes. The staff at the inn were very attentive to details and made our stay a private oasis.
