If you are at the property you have to stop at the spa for treatment! I opted for the Purity Touch - a full body ginger scrub, a full body mud wrap and 60 min massage. Amazing value for all of the services. Mariana my therapist was amazing! She was so attentive and constantly check in to make sure the experience was going well and that I was conformable. As soon as I finished I told people in our group to book services!

We came to an hacienda to relax and celebrate our wedding anniversary. We are extremely annoyed with the fact that there is a construction going on throughout the whole day. We came here to relax… and this is extremely stressful. We understand this is a business, but we should have been warned in advance. This would most definitely affect our decision in staying here during this period. This is very frustrating, we booked in an Hacienda!!

This was a very mixed stay. Our room was huge, clean, and lovely. The internet worked well. The pool was nice. The family of coatis is beyond adorable. And every member of the staff was pleasant (especially Leslie at the pool). However, there are some serious flaws. For starters, there is construction going on and it isn't very relaxing to hear construction all day long. (I know the hotel thinks the improvements are a good thing, but they are building far too many units for the limited amenities on the property. And I seriously question how much of the coati habitat has been ruined to build all the new units.) Second, the restaurant just isn't very good and is very expensive compared to other restaurants in Merida. Finally, there is nothing near the hotel so, if you don't want to eat at the over-priced and not-very-good hotel restaurant, you have to take a cab elsewhere.

We stayed at Hacienda Xcanatun after my brother's wedding in Merida. It was a magical experience. The staff is so friendly and attentive. The rooms are spectacular. The grounds are beautiful. The food is next level good. They took care of every detail for us and made us feel like royalty. The spa also is excellent. Our only complaint, which they warned us about ahead of time, was the construction of residences around the pool area. Thankfully it was nowhere near our room, but it was quite loud at the pool during the day. I just put my AirPods in and read my book. The pool was otherwise lovely and Leslie at the pool bar is a gem!

Spent a great 3 nights at the hacienda. The room was huge, with one of the nicest bathrooms I’ve seen. The pool wasn’t busy (even though the hotel was full), and the restaurant food was top quality. The staff were very friendly. Very happy with the stay.
