Andaz Mexico City Condesa

The service at this hotel is top notch! Every single staff member is super nice and helpful including Fernando's Concierge team who helped with making dinner reservations, transportations, and provided great suggestions of places to visit. The entire team at the Portico restaurant were amazing and very attentive. The hotel has 24 hour security and their presence is known but not in a scary way but in a way that makes you feel safe. Andaz is an adjacent to the Mondrian, therefore you have access to their bar, and shop and purchases can be charged to your Andaz account. The Mondrian staff members, just like the Andaz's are amazing. The hotel is located in a great neighborhood that is safe to walk around at day or night. Lots of restaurants nearby especially Taco Naco that is open 24 hours!

Dirty bedding. Rooms located on the street are pretty loud. You can hear cars and motor cycles all night. Zero sound insulation. They’ll give you ear plugs if you complain but even with ear plugs the noise is pretty bad. Overall terrible experience.

The bed was so comfortable, and the staff made our stay feel very welcoming. It was our first time to CDMX, so we tried to do a lot during our stay. Coming back to Andaz at the end of the day was comforting and relaxing. We loved that the facility was dog-friendly, it made us miss our pups a little less :)

Overall, my stay at Andaz Condesa was memorable, and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Mexico City!

Nice hotel, with nice patios and outdoor areas to sit. We were promptly greeted when we arrived and guided up the escalator to the check in area. Our room category was upgraded as a Hyatt Explorerist, but the room was still pretty small. In any case, it was clean and comfortable. We did use the turntable, which was a cute touch. The service during our stay was very good. The Wooftop had lots of dogs, and we only stayed for one drink. The rooftop pool was odd, as others have stated. 4 people were getting in as we arrived and it was not large enought to swim in. Location was great, just a few minutes walking to the Amsterdam loop and many good restaurants. Easy to get Ubers and there was a convenience store across the street. The noise in our room overnight was pretty bad, it definitely woke us up literally every hour of the night with multiple car alarms and other noise. I understand staying in a popular area in a huge city is going to be loud, however there are hotels that have soundproofing and it's completely quiet in the rooms. Bring earplugs. Overall, it was a very nice stay!
