The Andaz in Condesa is an excellent location for exploring Condesa and Roma North. The building is unique and well maintained. The staff is very helpful. The coffee shop is very nice for a morning coffee before going out to explore. There are all sorts of restaurants within walking distance. Both Amsterdam Street and the Park of Mexico are great for walking. There are nearby bus and underground metro stops.

Checking process was lengthy and not taken care of. Room was arranged on one of the lowest levels directly facing the street. It was so noisy that I wasn't able to do anything, let alone sleep. Front desk wasn't able to do anything with it. I had to checkout at midnight to find another hotel. The sink faucet is weird that makes water flow far too strong, causing water to splash all over when washing hands. The bathroom floor drains very slowly. The handheld shower head also has a strange spray pattern, with the water not converging into a focused stream at all.

We had a wonderful experience at the Andaz with especially kind and helpful people: Elizabeth and Elisa at the concierge desk were fantastic, Augustine and Martha in the restaurant were absolutely lovely and Bruno at the front desk; all were excellent and went above and beyond. The hotel had many delightful amenities, and everyone was very personable and friendly, remembering us every time we came and left, helping us get tickets to things and making restaurants suggestions that were very reliable.

The hotel is located on a good point in Condesa. The parque de Mexico is an stroll away, with its nice sidewalk cafe’s and restaurants. All in a green and lush envoirment. The hotel consist of 2 hotels in one. Andaz Condesa & Mondrian hotel. The style of the hotel refelcts the eclectic area of Condesa. Not that it’s the most exclusive hotel of the city, the price is a bit on the high side, compared to the offered quality. A small 2000 dollars for 3 night. (high level room). The room is rather small and somewhat simple. The view :-(. Maybe the Mondrian is reflecting a bit more luxurious, though almost 50% beneficial. The upperfloor with pool & restaurant doesn’t match a 5 star. The food in Cayoban is somewhat mediocre. The pool has nice views but is rather small and a poor layout. Breakfast however is exctensive and of ‘good’ quality same as the service. Andaz Condesa ticks some boxes (staf++) but not all..

10 out of 10 service from the moment we arrived from the bellmen and specially Cesar at the reception desk. He went above and beyond making us feel welcomed and even made some local recommendations as he was checking us in. Great start to a great stay in CDMX
