We had a wonderful 5 night stay at the Andaz Condesa. We were in an Andaz Suite and it was like having an apartment for the longer stay (we loved the two bathrooms & closets!). From the moment we arrived, everyone was so warm & friendly and the hotel had a lot of visual interest and layout. The rooftop bar & restaurant was perfect for a drink with a view and my husband took advantage of the pool one or twice... a great photo op! Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The AC worked well and was also quiet which is so rare in a hotel - just a heads up the green AC light is right across from the bed so we taped a card over the light with a bandaid (did the trick!). Since we were Hyatt Globalists we took advantage of the complimentary buffet breakfast- it was the biggest breakfast spread I have ever seen!! We only went for one day because other mornings we had plans, but this would be such a cost savings if you used it daily, esp a family. The location of the hotel was perfect for cafes, shops & the park nearby. We also had some assistance from the hotel prior to our stay to reserve some harder to get dinner reservations. I would recommend the Andaz Condesa over and over.

This hotel was a perfect place for our first visit to Mexico City. As we weren't familiar with the area we wanted to make sure we stayed in a place with a good location that wasn't too busy and had a lot of amenities in case we had a hard time finding things. The staff at Andaz Condesa were extremely helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was great (ours was included with our package, otherwise I'm not sure how great of a value it is). I would definitely recommend this hotel to a first time visitor to Mexico City that wants a comfortable and high end experience.

As a frequent business and leisure traveler, I have consistently chosen Hyatt properties around the world as a Globalist member. One of the key reasons for my loyalty has always been Hyatt’s core values — care and empathy. Those values are especially meaningful to frequent travelers like me, as they create a sense of welcome and a feeling of being at home, regardless of the country or continent. Unfortunately, my recent stay at Andaz Mexico City did not reflect those values. While the property itself is undeniably beautiful and well-located — right in the heart of the city with restaurants, activities, and attractions just steps away — the overall service experience fell short of my expectations. The design is attractive and romantic, with multiple inviting seating areas, bars, coffee shops, and vibrant public spaces. Breakfast service and the bell attendant team on the second floor were warm and attentive, exceeding Hyatt standards. However, outside of those highlights, my interactions with much of the staff felt consistently indifferent and lacking in warmth. Upon arrival, two bell attendants were standing at the entrance engaged in conversation and did not acknowledge or offer assistance with my luggage. At check-in, breakfast reception, Cabuya Rooftop reception and service, and even during a simple inquiry about the rooftop pool in the lobby, interactions felt transactional rather than welcoming. There was little eye contact, no greeting such as “welcome” or “how are you,” and the overall tone conveyed reluctance rather than genuine hospitality. For a brand that emphasizes care, the recurring sense of indifference across multiple touchpoints was disappointing. Service does not need to be overly formal or elaborate — but warmth, attentiveness, and a willingness to engage make all the difference. Although Andaz Mexico City is a popular and visually impressive property, the service experience makes me hesitant to return for future visits to Mexico City.

The hotel is located in a great spot. Beautiful walkable neighborhood and easy access to the metro. We were excited about staying here as it had been highly recommended but we were put on the main floor (1st) where we had both the noise from the street and the noise of (very loud) people congregating by the elevators late at night. We couldn't sleep well at all. The trouble is that all rooms are located across from the elevators and we were traveling with children, so had two adjacent rooms. When asked to be moved after the first night, they couldn't accommodate moving us together. I wish we'd have been put in a higher floor.

I loved my stay at Andaz Mexico City Condesa. Fantastic walkable location, modern design, and great overall energy. The room was very comfortable and well appointed, though the initial hotel scent in the room was quite strong when I first entered. It settled down after I got used to it after a few days. Hotel staff was wonderful. The restaurant Cabuya stood out with outstanding food and attentive service. The vibe leans lively, with louder music even at earlier dining times, but it adds to the stylish, social atmosphere. Would absolutely stay again
