I recently stayed at the Andaz Mexico City Condesa, and overall, it is a beautiful property. The design, ambiance, and atmosphere truly make it feel special. Our room was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. One thing that really stood out was the housekeeping service. I wouldn’t even call it “maid service,” because the care she put into her work went far beyond that. We asked if she could leave extra water and coffee each day, and she did it with a smile, every single time. That kind of kindness stays with you. The front desk team was helpful, though the hotel did mix up our airport pickup time on arrival. Because of that, we handled our transportation ourselves on the way back. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. Room comfort was mostly great, though I do wish the temperature could be set a little cooler. Room service also takes quite a long time, so plan for at least an hour wait. And one thing that really needs attention, especially for light sleepers: the small blinking light from the smoke detector in the middle of the room is extremely bright. Every time it flashed, it would wake us up. On top of that, the thermostat control box has a bright green light that shines all night. We had to cover it with a bandage just to sleep. Despite those issues, I would still return because the property is gorgeous and the staff is warm and thoughtful. With a few adjustments, this hotel could be absolutely perfect.

come for the comfy bed, stay for the yummy breakfast via room service… and in between enjoy the rooftop view the walls are a but thin… mirror in room reflects sunlight sneaking in

The place was beautiful and ideally located in such a massive city. I was upgraded from a king room to the Andaz Suite which was beautiful.

Our room wasn’t ready until 4 PM, even though the check-in time is 3. When we finally checked in, the AC was blowing only hot air and wouldn’t go below 23 °C. I called multiple times, and each time the front desk told me someone would come to fix it, but no one showed up for over an hour. The room was uncomfortably warm, and the only way to cool it down was by opening the windows—letting in traffic noise and polluted air. A manager eventually called after I reached out through WhatsApp, but all he did was offer to bring a fan to the room. There was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience or apology. The AC was finally fixed roughly an hour and a half after we entered the room, yet there was still no follow-up, no communication, and no attempt to make things right. I’m honestly shocked that the service could be this poor.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! Hotel was spotless and felt new. Marcos met us at the door and showed us to the front desk. Peter at the desk was very helpful and explained the room options. The staff at the coffee shop were always super friendly and helpful. Mata was there every day smiling and helpful.
