The Andaz is a beautiful property with a lot of nice amenities and great service professionals. It feels like a boutique hotel with big hotel amenities. It is located in a lovely walkable neighborhood central to many Mexico City attractions.

Comfortable rooms, Nespresso coffee machines in the room are a nice touch, as are the phonographs and vinyl albums for guests' amusement. The reception staff are also very helpful. Bed was comfortable and the walk-in shower was terrific. One fatal flaw at this hotel, however- the breakfast service in the restaurant is awful. I was seated for 10 minutes in a restaurant that was only 40% full and no menu, no coffee service, no server acknowledged me after being seated my the restaurant manager. It's as if I was shrouded in a cloak of invisibility, as even my waves to the staff were met with eyes looking away and frowns. When I got up to leave, I mentioned why I was leaving to the restaurant manager, who shrugged and did not even apologize. Since I count on a decent breakfast to start my day, I will not return to the Andaz Condesa. This hotel is not at all up to Hyatt standards.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful and had so many thoughtful touches! Plenty variety of of food within the hotel itself including bars, restaurants, and a cafe. We tried the Cabuya rooftop pool (delicious cocktails!) and the cafe for a coffee. The hotel was beautifully furnished and had so many activities going on while we were there. They're extremely dog friendly, which we LOVED as dog lovers. They had dog events the whole weekend we were there, which they hosted at the Wooftop, their dog-friendly bar. The room and common areas were extremely clean and always had staff available to help. Housekeeping did a great job keeping our room spotless. The only complaint we have was that our water pressure in the shower was low and the water took a while to drain. Additionally, we had a corner room which had a weird layout, making it feel a lot smaller than the standard room because it had a weird layout.

The property is very safe and location is great. I loved the energy of the hotel and the events were socially inviting and fun. Loved the art throughout the hotel. The rooftop bar and patio bar was a great vibe. The room was spacious and loved the record player- very nice touch to the creativity of the property.

A beautiful hotel in a great location, with the Metro, MetroBus, and dozens of excellent restaurants nearby. The concierge provided excellent help and recommendations, and the front desk was very accommodating. Also, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the room fairly quiet. Having said all that, beware of a hotel were design triumphs over usefulness. Our room had only one overhead light at the entrance to the room, and there were only a few spot lights near the bed. I have never had such issues in a hotel, even at one a fraction of the cost. The bathroom is beautiful, but again, lacks more than just one towel hook. We liked the hotel, but would probably try another property on our next visit.
