Exceptional staff make this a gem

Exceptional experience. The staff are fantastic. So friendly and helpful. The area is extremely safe and only steps to the best dining and boutique shopping. Great restaurants in the hotel if you feel like staying in.

Nice base in a great part of town

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Nice Mexico City base. Great location, wonderful staff. Front desk manager quickly changed our room to a quieter one when we arrived (we’re light sleepers and the lower floors on the Avenida Insurgentes side can be noisy), no hesitation. Huge variety of food at breakfast. Only minor complaint is that because the gym is shared with the Mondrian, it can get crowded for a small space. And the airport pickup service is approximately 7x what an Uber Escalade cost. Hotel arranged xfers are always more expensive, and I don’t mind paying 1-2x more than booking myself, but when it’s more than 5x the going rate it’s slightly take the Mickey territory. But overall the hotel was a lovely stay in one of the two best areas of Mexico City.

Artsy in beautiful Condesa

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

This hotel is ideally located near great restaurants cafes & sites. Although the lobby is cold, there is indoor breakfast buffet and a lovely space to chill at the bar under heat lamps. Service concierge was impeccable and room service was great. They asked about allergies every time we ate or ordered. The rooftop space is fun, there’s games and pool tables for the late night young adults in our group. It’s a beautiful walk in the area of the hotel and safe in the evening. Recommended!

Tiny rooms, not really a 5* experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Not a 5* by any stretch of imagination. Property is beautiful, rooftop is great and had amazing food. Services was courteous and good but not empathetic enough or go out of the way like 5* usually does. We stayed 3/5 nights at St Regis and last 2 here and difference between the 2 was night and day. St Regis was true 5* and treated us like royalty. Rooms were extremely small and had a massive column by windows. We felt claustrophobic. Also the breakfast buffet was very average with toasters very dirty and smoke coming out every time you toast something. Wouldn’t recommend. If they claimed to be 4* I’d have understood the tiny rooms but not for a 5*
