The hotel itself was just perfect and the staff were even better. Carlos (the GM) and Ulysius and Gracia (waitstaff) and others were amazingly accommodating. The restaurants, the spa, the rooms and the entire property was just right for this celebratory trip! We will definitely be back!

The master suite was excellent for two people and loved the view of the cityscape from the ceiling to floor windows, the breakfast buffet in the executive lounge was superb, the happy hour was okay, the checkin was good, holiday decorations were super, loved my bathtub, they ran out of coffee cups and we had to call separately to get some tea cups, room service cleaned well, unfortunately the TV is mainly for Spanish speakers and we had trouble screening from our phone or iPad, close to main attractions and easy to walk to them!

Level of quality probably as expected from that of a Hilton in the U.S. and/or in Latin American countries (but worse than those in the SE Asian countries). Water quality in Mexico City is questionable enough that all hotel maids at this Hilton and the other hotel we'd stayed at gave us bottle water to brush our teeth for. Given the needs this city requires for U.S.-standard-of-living travelers: - questionable tap water (for all hotels) - grimy city, noticeable pollution that will affect your noses - breathing also adversely affected by the high elevation (7000+ ft sea level) I suggest that you choose the BEST hotel within your budget to get the comfort you are used to, if your style is to minimize hassles on vacation. At the Hilton now. If re-doing, I would probably go to the Four Seasons; this city is not where I should've "saved" money, why? - lotion in room was nearly out and un-usable. Upon my calling to request a new bottle, yes, gave me one, but this was a hassle. - coffee maker doesn't come with mugs, only 2 measly paper cups (not systematically replenished daily). Made drinking & boiling water a hassle. - would imagine my not having to deal with such things at a Four Seasons/Ritz. When one is dealing with commute time/bog-down due to bad, congested car traffic at all times, or having to walk through grimy roads through the many dense vendor stalls that line up nearly most of the streets to the tourist sites, and adding to that pounding street music, all of this causes fatigue (mental and physical). Meaning: this hotel is perhaps not ideally located, as it is TOO close to discomforts. From one in the upper percentile who had thought her backpacking days had toughened her, but who is learning that she just doesn't want to deal with certain things anymore, esp. when one has apparently become used to the good life. Putting aside the hotel review -- Mexico City is nonetheless worth a visit. So much interesting culture, history and art -- and even all of the above non-ideal aspects are part of the country to learn and understand. Come. Just a heads up re what to expect and how to accommodate your own needs.

From the moment you walk into this centrally located Hilton, you know you are in for a treat. The hotel is immaculate, and every team member is eager to help and make your stay enjoyable. The kind and hard working housekeeping staff are treasures, making sure the room shines every day. Special shout out to Carolina and Erika. Dionisio in the Executive Lounge also went above and beyond making our stay special. Thank you to every member of the team for your hard work and dedication.

We found this hotel to be in the center of everything and certainly "the place" to stay! Very walkable to the museams, park and restaurants. Taxis are super inexpensive and Uber is also a quick way to get around. Hilton is always dependable brand, but Hilton Mexico City is extra special. Thank you very much to the team at Hilton Reforma! We loved our stay in your beautiful hotel. The service was outstanding as was the food, location... and my suite were just gorgeous. Sincerely. We loved it! Starting with SANDRA at the front desk when we checked in. Sandra was friendly. Professional, informative and very nice. Check in was a breeze. Manager CEM Kutlu couldn’t have been friendlier or more professional. He was extremely helpful and addressed my questions promptly. Mr. Kutlu provided me with his direct Hilton e-mail address in case I had any questions during my stay. Servers Ulises and Grecia!!! WOW. So attentive. Thank you so very much GRECIA for going over and above with the kind amazing service and smile! You really brightened up our mornings. (Thank you for seeking out my friend who left his favorite sweatshirt behind in the executive lounge). ULISES, attention to detail is superb! Ulises seemingly glides on air through the lounge making eyes contact with the guests and “reads” each table anticipating what we (and all guests) needed next. His service is exceptional! He is not only amazing, but also calm, composed, quick and works very hard to make this property shine. Great job - thank you!. This is a man who likes his job, and it shows. YADIRA in housekeeping kept my room beautifully and spotless everyday. Your attention to detail is superb and I did not feel as I was coming back to a hotel room at all, but a home away from home! Thank you all for making our first stay in Mexico City something to remember!
