The Hotel Marquis Reforma is becoming our favorite in Mexico City. We have stayed several times previously. We really like the location. It has all the services that we need. While there are more luxurious places to stay, the value for the money is excellent here. Our most recent stay was during Easter week. The hotel was full to overflowing. They still worked with us for a late checkout to accommodate our morning tour and late afternoon flight. We will be back.

The hotel was excellent and the room had everything we needed. The service and food for breakfast was great, and the waiters were extremely helpful. Both Elias and Percybal were professional and extremely nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay.

Wonderful service, Gaby at the restaurant was so kind. Had a great time. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit like papaya and guava. The people were so helpful. Would definitely recommend for a family. The location is perfect, right near the parks and museums. Walking distance to all great neighborhoods.

From beginning to end such a great experience. Staff is constantly making sure your needs are taken care of . Elias y Persybal at the breakfast buffet along with the rest of the people there were awesome . Rooms are impecable and the front desk and the people at the front couldn’t be nicer and more accommodating. Even got a couple of recommendations for day trips and markets that worked out great!!! Thank you All ! Fabian V.

This review is about the spa. The massage itself and the facility were quite good - but unfortunately, the experience was ruined by poor communication and unprofessional handling by the staff. We had booked a one-hour massage from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. To our surprise, we received a call at 4:00 PM asking where we were. We were confused but said we were almost there. Upon arrival, the staff welcomed us without any mention of being “late” or changes to our session. We changed and entered the massage room exactly at 4:30. Then, halfway through - at 5:00 PM - hey abruptly ended the session, claiming we had arrived late and would only receive a 30-minute massage, yet still had to pay for the full hour. What was especially frustrating is that they completely dismissed the possibility that the mistake could’ve been on their end. Their exact words were: “Because we said it’s at 4, YOU made the appointment at 4.” When I asked them to review the phone recording of our booking to verify the time, they refused - but still insisted on full payment without offering any proof. It felt less like a five-star hotel and more like a chaotic fish market. Totally unacceptable. Honestly, had they informed us of this policy upfront or when we arrived, we wouldn’t have proceeded. Who wants to pay full price for half the service? Overall, it was an awkward and uncomfortable experience. We'll definitely be going elsewhere from now on - will miss the massage therapist, but not the reservation / front desk staff.
