We stayed here for two nights. The entrance seemed to be work in progress. Thanks to a man that was making nighttime security we knew that the reception was on the higher floor. The Guy at the Check In on Thursday Night 12.09.24 was super nice and professional. After we took towels for the next day and brought it back in the evening, the guy on Friday Night at 21:18 was really arrogant when we asked kindly where we have to bring it back. He answered like we allready should know which nobody explained! They count towels and those who are missing they will have to pay. So how does the hotel know that we brought them back!? Nonsense. We felt really awful. Breakfast is mostly standing, theres some coffee and a croissant to go. The Valet is horrible. I know they work for different hotels but you wait 30-50 min for your car and you see the guy talking around and not bringing any cars. The Location is at Ocean Drive and 5 min from the famous Beach. Rooms are clean but noisy. You hear your neighbours on top floors walking around. View was a court yard like not really amazing. View from the Rooftop nice. But all in all we must say that we didnt had a good experience and would search another hotel.

Spacious rooms with modern furnishings and complete with everything a tourist needs. Located on ocean drive in front of the sign " Miami Beach". Friendly and helpful staff. in the rooms there is also a kitchen for those who do not want to dine out, given the high prices of Miami

Absolutely amazing stay! I have stayed at Bentley South Beach a few times. I have seen it go through renovations and staff changes, and it has made for a wonderful stay. You are not going to find a better priced hotel for the amount of space that you get. The beach is right across the street, and they will give you beach chairs to take with you. I was talking to another guest whose flight was canceled due to topical storm Debby. She stayed at Bentley while waiting for a new flight. She told me she wished she would have known about it because she had stayed somewhere else during her time visiting and regretted it. The space and location are perfect, but the staff make it worth it. Every single staff member you encounter is friendly. Managers, William and Ashleyth treat you like they are welcoming friends and not guests, and the staff follows suit. From front desk crew, Cesar assisting your needs to Luciana in housekeeping, making sure your room is clean and comfortable. I plan to go back in October for my birthday and of course I'm not staying any where but at Bentley South Beach.

We returned for the third year in a row this month. That alone should be indicative of our high rating for this hotel and we are looking forward to our retune next year. Every year, the hotel improves on the year before, but this year they double their effort with fresh, completely updated rooms that made us feel like we wanted to extend our stay. The staff……….simply incredible. From those who cleaned our room and the common areas to Cesar and William, they greeted us with a warm smile and genuine welcome from the moment we arrived. We felt like family. If you’re looking for a historic hotel with a surprisingly updated interior that is located close to everything (or nothing if that’s what you desire), there is no better place to rest your head and relax in a ocean view room and the south end of South Beach. We look forward to the updates that are to come in the months ahead when we return next year. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

Nightmare hotel experience! Broken locks, no management, scary security, bugs & false advertisement. Here’s the details: Booked what was said to be a 4-star hotel through my credit card travel portal. Email confirmation & hotel website states that guests will be greeted with a glass of champagne. Instead, my friend & I were greeted by an infestation of white moth-looking flies right inside the entrance where you have to stand & wait for the elevator that takes you to the check-in lobby. We stood there swatting the flies off of us until the elevator came. Once its doors opened, we were greeted by another swarm of the same flies & had to swat our way up. Once in the lobby, we immediately complained to front desk personnel, Yanna(not sure of spelling but this was how she pronounced it) & her response was that it’s because of the neighboring restaurant and that this was the only entrance we have to the hotel. As we stood there, another party exited the elevator complaining of the very same issue. After completing check-in, we get to our room & after about an hour, we realize the locks to our door were broken. We ask Yanna for a room change, she said she will send someone to our room. A man claiming to be head of security shows up & begins to explain that there was no management on the premises until the following day, that there are no other rooms available & that we will be safe regardless of the broken locks because they have plenty of security cameras, they have plenty of security staff who walk the floors frequently, and he literally said, “we’ve never had a break in before so we’re not expecting one tonight”. We continued to explain that every room is supposed to have working locks and that we do not feel safe, and requested a refund so that we can stay elsewhere. The man began to raise his voice at us & tell us they do not & would not provide a refund. My friend immediately felt threatened & asked him to leave. Keep in mind, there’s an increasingly high rate of sex-trafficking in the area & we were warned of this on posters all over the Miami airport. So after this, I called the credit card company & opened a dispute. We also called the police, and 5 of them responded at the scene & confirmed that the room was unsafe. One of them even told us, “I wouldn’t let my family stay here.” They tried to talk to the security guy & he told him the same thing about not having any more rooms available & not giving a refund. So we requested a police report & then left the hotel. The cops gave us some leads to better hotels & we sat in our rental car calling around at nearly midnight to book a new hotel. Thankfully we were able to snag a good one a few minutes away. As of right now, the hotel is still refusing a refund & we are pursuing all legal options. The photos I posted are screenshots of actual video footage. In the videos, you’re able to see the swarming flies much better, as well as how the deadlock did not open or close. Feel free to message me if you have similar experiences or helpful tips. Thanks.
