Perfect location on Ocean Avenue! Excellent staff, especially Marco and Alex were fantastic but they all were extremely nice. Room was large with a kitchenette and in a quiet area and bed was very comfortable. Beach is across the road and South Point park is in walking distance. The Art Deco street begins here ! The roof top pool and lounge area is fantastic and the 5 PM Champagne hour and continental Breakfast was the Cherry on the Top! Soon they will open a restaurant to make it real 5 Star! Areal gem for all type of travelers. It was nice to see families with little children enjoying the hotel. We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday and we had fun!

We had a lovely 3 night stay at the Bentley. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room well appointed and equipped, loved the atrium balcony. The roof deck and pool has great views of miami beach. On our 3rd trip to Miami Beach, this is our favourite hotel. Location great and quieter end of ocean drive.

This hotel claims to be four star, yet at the time of my visit it lacked all the amenities of such an establishment. The restaurant was closed (under construction, blocked off with plastic sheeting). The normal 2nd floor front desk had been relocated to the lobby, and was makeshift. There was no spa or fitness center. No concierge. No room service. The lobby furniture was roped off and covered in plastic. My room was nice. Bed was comfortable. Walk-in closet. Fridge indicated 34° on the front panel, but too late I learned it was broken and all my perishable groceries were spoiled. The rooftop pool and deck are nice. I complained about conditions and requested a pro-rated room rate, and was told since I booked through a 3rd party (Booking.com) they would have to handle it. Booking tried to negotiate a partial refund, but the hotel refused. I disputed the charge with my credit card and up to this date the hotel has not responded. Booking gave me a wallet credit that can only be used for future bookings, not a refund to the credit card. Also the room balcony overlooked a central airshaft. At the bottom a series of canvas tarps were outstretched to catch construction debris. So it was unsightly and the area on the ground floor was unusable. The valet service was handy, and the people operating it were friendly. The hotel staff was generally cordial and professional. My bathroom toiletries had not been replenished when I checked in. I had to fetch some myself from a housekeeping cart in the hallway. A hotel that charges almost $300 a night should not be operated in such a state.

We had never stayed in South Beach before, a stunning area known for its gorgeous beaches and iconic Art Deco architecture. The Bentley Hotel seemed promising, but the experience was mixed. The photos online were incredibly misleading. Finding the hotel with GPS was frustrating, as it repeatedly directed us in circles. There’s no garage, valet parking is both expensive and slow, but being on vacation in South Beach, we tried not to let that bother us. Approaching the hotel, the front door was broken, and the entryway was dimly lit. The hallway leading to the so-called “lobby” was pitch black, and the building was filled with ongoing construction. The lobby itself was tiny—more the size of a bedroom than a proper reception area. To add to the quirks, all the hotel windows are nailed shut. However, everything started to improve when we met Marcos, who provided some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced—he was truly a gem. Our room, thankfully, was stunning! Both my friend and I had booked different types of rooms, and each was beautiful. The bathrooms were modern and elegant, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Later, we decided to check out the rooftop for a dip in the hot tub and pool. Unfortunately, getting there via the freight elevator was nerve-wracking, and the rooftop’s overall condition left much to be desired. Despite this, the view was absolutely breathtaking. While there was no bar or food available, construction noise everywhere, and a terrifying 2 a.m. fire alarm (made worse by the nailed-shut windows), the positives made up for it. The rooms, service, and amazing staff stood out. Would I return? Absolutely—again and again. Just be warned: the photos don’t tell the full story, except for the rooms, which are truly as beautiful as they seem.

It started out bad...GPS took us to the front of the hotel, but there was no formal entrance I can see, and no designated parking for unloading. Also, half of the front door was taped with black trash bags. So we drove to the back of the building with wishful thinking, but it was a dark alley and still no where to park. We parked 1.5 block away, I walked to hotel, there was a person at a reception podium who told me to check in on 2nd floor. How could this be an "8.4" rating based on Hotels.com? Our experience quickly changed after meeting a welcoming receptionist, Marcos. He answered all of our questions, troubleshot all issues and made our stay a very pleasant one. So thanks to him, I'm giving this hotel a 4/5 star. Hotel manager told us that they are going through renovation and will soon have an exercise room. You can rent a beach bike and a beach chair per person, all free. You must go to their rooftop pool, there wasn't anyone up there and you have a nice view of the ocean. We paid their valet parking, it was a daily fee but you can enter/exit unlimited. Finally, location is perfect, soon as you walk across the street, you'll see the popular tourist sign that says "MIAMI BEACH". To your left is the famous South Miami Beach Ocean Drive, where you'll find plentiful of restaurants and hotels. Just 5 blocks north or 1 mile away is the famous Casa Casuarina, aka the Versace Mansion. Unfortunately, you cannot enter the mansion without a hotel or restaurant reservation. Overall, we enjoyed Bentley Hotel. It's a boutique hotel, price was right for its location and our month of travel (Dec 2024). Btw, it's only 12-15 min drive to the cruise terminal.
