Amazing stay.

Amazing hotel and amazing service. Living Room, Theatre, pool, beach and restaurants are beyond high quality and fun. Highly recommended. My to go hotel in Miami for sure. Special thanks to Merve Gundogar and Burak Uysal for their kind interest with all of us. We felt home during our stay. Also thanks to all the front door and butler service and the valets, they helped us a lot through our stay.

Faena disappointment

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Unfortunately our families two night birthday celebration stay was very disappointing. One of the reasons we chose this hotel over the Four Seasons at the Surf Club, was the in house restaurant Pau by Pau Qui, some friends of ours dined there and highly recommended it. So several weeks ago I booked our room reservations, two oceanfront junior suites, the rate was non refundable so we were locked in. Once the room was booked I immediately booked our dinner reservation at Pau. Several days later I receive an email saying your reservation has been cancelled. I proceeded to call the hotel and was unable to speak to a human for several hours.....On about my fifth call of the day, I finally spoke to someone and they couldn't give me a reason why our dining reservation was cancelled. The following day I finally got through to the concierge and they explained the restaurant had been bought out for a private event. I understand these things happen, but I believe the restaurant manger or the concierge should have contacted all the people that had dining reservations at Pau that were cancelled, and offered to help find them alternatives... not just an email stating your reservation has been cancelled with no explanation. About a week before our stay, I also booked a spa day for our family . Hammam experience for our daughters, followed by two massages, and massages for my husband and I, and a wash and blow dry for myself. On the day of arrival at the Faena, we arrived at the hotel early, I think around 1 pm, the lady checking us in told us she would put a rush/expedite our rooms , and the two rooms should be ready shortly. Well the rooms were not ready until 3;50 and 4;00.... fair enough that is the actual check in time, but why tell us you have expedited them...Once we arrive at the rooms, in which I have booked two identical rooms, they were DEFINITELY not of the same caliber. Room 715 if quite inferior to room 716. Room 715 is a broken up room with a tiny hallway separating the living area from the bedroom, choppy floor plan, and a bathroom with a plastic shower curtain ( for $2500 per room per night, the plastic shower curtain was comical). Room 716 at least had a large glassed in shower.. Two bottles of complimentary water were waiting for us in the room, but one of them had already been opened and half consumed... our butler came and was quite embarrassed , and brought several "new" bottles to our room. I had not received an email that was promised to confirm our spa reservations, nor received spa confirmations at check in, so we went to the spa to confirm up our spa reservations for the following day. Once at the spa, they apologized that no email had been sent. Once back in my room, I received the email confirmations, only to find my hair appointment was missing... well after two hours of phone calls, they finally resolved it and were able to call someone in for the hair services the next day. The following day the spa experience was very good, the best part of our stay. Very nice facilities and services. I do highly recommend the spa. After spa appointments our daughters went down to have a late lunch at Los Fuegos, what a disaster and so unprofessional. When they ordered, they were told a credit card needed to held while they dine........??? My daughters too them they were hotel guests and the room number, they still insisted on a credit card. After waiting for almost an hour for two salads (which came out wrong..) when it was time to pay, my daughter told them they wanted to pay and they brought back a credit card that belonged to someone else!!!! It took the a while to find our credit card... this is UNACCEPTABLE . To find a few positives, the living room bar lounge area, has a nice vibe and cocktails. Los Fuegos was quite good for dinner, nothing special but good. Most of personnel throughout the hotel are friendly, and I think trying to offer a nice experience , but overall the hotel is lacking in many areas. This was definitely not a five star stay, for the 14 k we spent for a two night stay.......from now on we will stick to the Four Seasons....

Amazing experience!

Whenever I can, I go to all the new shows! The vibe of the show is really good, and the music repertoire is amazing. The best part is that, while watching, you can eat and have a drink, which makes the experience even more enjoyable and relaxing. I love the atmosphere and how everything comes together to create a fun night. I highly recommend it!

"Retro" at Faena Miami is a solid 5-star show! This place has a cool mix of old-school glam and modern vibes. The show itself is a total blast from the past! It's got this great combo of old-time glitz with a fresh spin. The cast of "Retro" is remarkable, filled with multi-talented performers who bring an infectious energy to every scene. The show's music, an eclectic mix of timeless hits and original compositions, is another highlight and really sets the tone for the show. The production of "Retro" is top-notch. Fabulous costumes, dramatic lighting, imaginative stage design, everything contributes to the overall immersive experience. To wrap it up, "Retro" at Faena Miami is a wonderful show.
