Super stay in a super hotel

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in February and really loved our stay. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our room was great, very large, comfortable and well equipped. The pool bar on the roof was awesome, really relaxing but with music playing and a good buzz and great service. Lovely large lobby area to relax and the outdoor area is also spacious and relaxed. The hotel location itself is just unbeatable. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Hotel

We have stayed here twice & loved it. We have booked to return for a third time. The hotel is not luxurious but is located in a great location, directly on south Beach and a short walk away from Lincoln road or corner stores. There is plenty going on around the hotel, without being too noisy. There is a CVS only a couple of minute walk up the street, which we found to be handy. The beach itself is literally across the road. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, who go above and beyond to meet the needs of the guests. Nothing is too much for them. There is a bar available in the hotel, a rooftop pool area and a happy hour available at the pool area for a specific time each day. I feel this hotel would meet the needs of a variety of travellers and have recommended to those I know who have planned to visit Miami. I would highly recommend booking a room with a balcony as the balconies overlook south beach & a great Birds Eye view of all of what’s going on in ocean drive night life. Overall a great stay here on both previous stays. Love this hotel & cannot wait to return

The rooms are fairly standard. Key features are visiting the pool on level 4 and a drink outside either by pool or downstairs . Also can get a beach chair and towels on beach. Fairly relaxed environment with hotel. Confused that hotel originally was Tiffany hence tower rebound at sometime

Run down motel rooms with thin walls, good location and pool

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Small hotel in a fantastic location with a cool rooftop pool area but motel style rooms and issues. Highlights - Location: on Collins 1 block from ocean and Miami Beach - Rooftop pool: can see the ocean across the street, has comfy lounge chairs, water is a good refreshing temperature, small bar with drinks and food and happy hour at 2pm - Cool art deco exterior matching that neighborhood - Free admission into Wynwood Walls ($12) as it's the same owner as the hotel. About a 20 min Uber away depending on traffic Midlights: - Housekeeping was unreliable. Sometimes they came while we were out and others it was after 4pm and they still didn't come. - Pool service: sometimes came and around and was great and other times mia or too busy and said couldn't take orders for at least 10 more minutes. - Food at pool: some things were better than others. We liked the beef empanadas but not the chicken (they were oddly velveeta cheesy), and liked the tender mahi sandwich but the guac and salsa for rye chips seemed like out of a jar from the grocery store. - Website menus are not accurate: they had a lot more breakfast options including chilaquiles we wanted to order as well as mahi tacos. - Elevator: 1 for the place and always seemed to have a wait a decent amount of time for it. Lowlights: - Dating app problem: looks a lot better in pics the website - Rooms are only big enough to fit a bed and pretty run down. There's an attempt to cover that up with some art deco decor. Not pleasant to relax in--just to sleep. No light switch by the door so I came into a dark room and could only find a light in the closet. - Bathroom: barely had room to stand in front of the sink it was so tight. - Thin walls: could hear everything people said in the hallway and even in rooms across the way in addition to people's steps in rooms above us. - Closet: bar to hang clothes was so short a good portion of my long dresses were on the ground. - Pool gets crowded: especially in the afternoon may not be lounge chairs left. If cabanas are rented a whole side on chairs are reserved. They also sell day passes so that's more people to take up space at a small pool. - Well liquors: all pretty generic unknown brands used in the cocktails and for happy hour. Eg not even like Bacardi or Jim Beam or Smirnoff - Waters: only provide bottles the first day and say to use the water dispenser in the gym but was out of water every time we tried to get some. Was thinking it was a cute small boutiquey hotel for the price, but was disappointed in quality of the rooms.

My wife and I just returned from a stay at The Hotel of South Beach and have vowed to return as soon as possible. The hotel was marvelous and the suite we stayed in was just beautiful. We also ate dinner at Wish on Saturday night to celebrate our anniversary and the food was absolutely delicious. All in all, we absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
