For the prices this hotel charges, my stay was very underwhelming. Pros: -The hotel's aesthetic is very modern. However, it's a little too modernized and minimalist at the sake of practical and expected amenities. -My room and bathroom were clean. -Great location in Brickell in walking distance to restaurants and the mall connected next door. Cons: Unfortunately, the cons outweighed the pros which led me to telling myself I would not choose this hotel again. In attempt to make this hotel technologically advanced, things became more complicated than it should be. -Front desk: The check in process was very inefficient. They had 2 employees doing check in then the employee would step away to show guests how to use the elevator kiosk which caused the check in line to back up waiting for the employee to come back. Also, the front desk didn't provide any information or pamphlet about the amenities, how to access hotel WIFI or anything. As a guest, you have to figure out the hotel on your own. -Elevator kiosk: There are 4 kiosks to get elevator access. 2 for hotel rooms and 2 for suites. The digital kiosks had no instructions so when I would need to use it, there would be a hold up because another guest was struggling trying to figure out how to use it. A sign with instructions on how to use the digital kiosk would be more efficient. There are no buttons in the elevator so if you end up with someone else in your elevator you can't stop the elevator or get off if you need to without going all the way the to the lobby or your room floor. The option that other hotels have to scan your key in the elevator and pushing your floor button would be more efficient instead of trying to remember which elevator the kiosk told you was yours while you wait for it to come 30 floors down. -Not enough lobby seating: The lobby did not have much seating except for a backless long ottoman in the middle and a couple of chairs near the cafe. Not having enough seating made it impractical to have somewhere to sit if you were waiting on your room to be ready or waiting for an Uber. -No lighting: I'm not sure what this hotel has against lighting but the lobby, the elevators, the hallways and guest rooms were so dark almost pitch black. I was appalled when I realized the only lighting in the bedroom area was one dim table ceiling light and 2 reading lamps near the bed. The lights in the bathroom were also dim and definitely not enough see well. Even with every light on in the room, the room was almost completely dark. -Touch pad for lighting: The hotel room requires using an immoble touch pad on the nightstand and a touchpad all the way by the door to turn the barely there lights on and off. The touchpads in my room barely worked and I had to press the tabs super hard or multiple times for it to work. Thank goodness the bellman came with my luggage at the time I was trying to figure out the touch pad so I could ask him how to turn the lights on because there are no instructions in the room on how to work the lights. Additionally, all the lights would randomly shut off out of nowhere which was super inconvenient which caused me to have to use my phone flashlight to maneuver around the room to find the touchpad on the wall or nightstand to cut them back on. The difficulty of using the touch pad and lack of lights constantly made me say to myself "I cannot wait to check out of this hotel." Other hotels that use a central light panel, use one with actual buttons so you don't have to press super hard to try to make it work and it actually provides sufficient lighting which can be decreased and increased. -No bathroom privacy: Don't book this hotel if you are sharing a room with someone who you don't want to see you in all your glory in the bathroom. There are no doors to close off the bathroom. From the bed area, there are open wooden pillars where you can see directly into the bathroom. -Lack of privacy on balcony and room: The balcony photos online are misleading. The balcony is very small and has no privacy. You can see your neighbors balcony 3 floors beside you, above you, and below you. Also, you can see clearly and directly into the apartments in the building across which means they can also see you if you don't pull the opaque blinds. The opaque blinds weren't easy to locate; only the sheer ones which don't provide any privacy at night when the lights are on. -No basic in room amenities: There is no luggage rack or chairs to set your luggage on so you have to open and lay your suitcase on the floor. The only seating in the room is an immobile minibooth which does not face the TV so if you want to sit anywhere or have any guests, they have to sit on the bed. I understand hotels are beginning to not provide fridges but this hotel has a mini fridge completely stocked with a minibar which makes the fridge useless. There is only 1 outlet in the bathroom and the only other option is 1 USB port on each side of the bed which isn't conducive to plugging in more than one electronic device. They only give you 1 glass. There is a water faucet in the bathroom but who really wants to drink water out of a bathroom. For these prices, they could provide at least 1 water bottle. -No mobile app or mobile key: The hotel should invest in a phone app that streamlines guests daily options and check in/check out. I did download the Iprefer app but it was worthless. To view the in room dining to order or view the menu, you have to turn the TV on and scan QR code which is inconvenient instead of being able to do it from your phone. There is an IPAD on the nightstand but it was useless. You can't order food from it, can't control the lights or blinds from it, can't check out from it, so it had no purpose. A mobile app option would've made checkin/checkout much easier instead of going through my emails to find the checkout email. A mobile key is the digital advancement the hotel should have to accompany all the digitilization in the hotel. -Floor noise: The doors slam so loudly. I would constantly hear doors slamming throughout the night. The street noise can be very loud too even from 20 plus floors up. I found out about this hotel on Tik Tok and social media and unfortunately those videos and photos online were deceptive compared to the actual experience at this hotel. This was a barebones minimalist hotel. I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again. This hotel does not effectively provide an accomodating and practical stay for its guests. From now on, I'll stick to chain hotel brands like Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott, which are consistent and guest friendly.

Outstanding!! The hotel is clean, in pristine, cosy, elegant. The location is the best for Miami. It is located inside a luxurious shopping center. Ellie from the front desk was very helpful and kind, we loved her. The cost for the room was inferior than it could be considering all the ammenities and perks.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in a 2-room suite. The room was really nice, the beds were comfortable, the view was nice, the balconies were big. I have nothing to say about the quality of the room BUT the hotel is definitely very poorly managed. We could only get our room at 8 PM, we were told it was still being cleaned. The next day the room cleaning service never came to our room, the room was not cleaned, the beds were not made etc. There was no mini bar service. We didn't even have 1 bottle of water to drink in the room. We called the reception 5 times for this, we kept saying the same thing; water only came to the room at 11:30 PM!! This is completely unacceptable for a hotel where I paid $1800 for 2 nights. The management of the hotel is really terrible. The hotel may be stylish and beautiful but I will never stay at a hotel where I can't get service again

Our trip in Miami has been amazing, and our stay at East Miami in Brickell had a lot to do with our amazing time. The hotel is extremely beautiful and all employees were kind and helpful. The views we had over the bay made our stay feel enriched! And the amount of amenities and the quality of them was exciting. The location is perfect and made the nightlife experience much better. 10/10 recommend. I will definitely be coming back!
