I loved this hotel when it was a Conrad by Hilton. The issues I faced with this visit: *They no longer have tennis courts. Although they once clearly heavily marketed their tennis courts they did not go back and clean up that marketing when they removed them. When you search for hotels with good tennis courts in Miami- this hotel comes up on multiple websites. The hotel takes no ownership of this false information. *The "suite" room was just opening the adjoining door to the room next door in which they had removed the bed and placed a couch. *The beds sit in front of the windows with the view- so unless you are in the bathroom or you climb over the headboard of the bed you do not get full advantage of the view. *More than anything- everyone there from the front desk to management had no genuine concern for the tennis court issue. I only sensed annoyance and deflection. The first response to me bringing up the lack of tennis courts was essentially "prove it" which I was shocked by. Of all the hotels in this area at this price range (or lower) I would not select this hotel under this management.

No hot water for my 6 am shower. Apparently it happens whenever "everyone is taking a shower at the same time." Other than that, it is a fairly nice hotel. No hot water for my 6 am shower. The hotel was really nice. We got exceptional customer service from Elijiah, Jorge, and Caesar when dropping off (and collecting) our luggage. I loved the proximity to the city. Everything was very walkable- the water, shops, the metro, the food. Would definitely stay again when I come back!

The events/sales team at this hotel cannot be beat! My company used this hotel for our kick off event in January and my planning committee and I were blown away. The hotel was gorgeous, from the bar on the 25th floor to the pool deck. Its location was ideal. Walking distance to the water, shopping and running/bike paths. It was also a quick ride to South Beach for those who wanted to venture around Miami. The AKA team were on top of everything! From the time we started room registrations to moment the last employee checked out, they made themselves available to us whenever we needed them. Their flexibility and timely communications allowed all aspects of our event to go smoothly. They were incredibly proactive with adjusting to our meeting needs as well as moving us around when the weather wasn't cooperating. The wait staff could not have been more friendly. I could see them checking in on our guests making sure they had everything they needed during our receptions. My wine glass was never empty and the food was delicious! I cannot thank this team enough for providing one of the smoothest experiences I've had in events. What a dream!

Elijah and Mario were super helpful from beginning to end. They helped us get all of our bags downstairs and into storage efficiently. We had a lot of items and Elijah was very helpful in bringing everything back-and-forth to us. We recommend them 100%!
