Mayfair House Hotel & Garden

Location, location, location. All of the staff, from Valet Parking, Check-in, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Bartender and event wait staff (as well as chefs behind the scene) were all amazing. Shout out in particular to the Maintenance Man who helped me reframe a painting I made for a retirement party, Oscar's Grand Farewell, held at The Mayfair. Only issue was I filled out the arrival time as 4 pm and room wasn't ready when I arrived at 4 pm and had to wait until after 4:30 pm to check in.

What an amazing, relaxing stay. The reception and wait staff were incredibly hospitable and accommodating. We traveled with my brother who was recovering from knee surgery and everyone treated him with kindness and empathy! What a wonderful Thanksgiving! We also enjoy bountiful and delicious breakfasts during our stay. The place is breathtaking!

An absolutely gorgeous hotel, a hidden gem of Miami. The hotel inside looks like a beautiful greenhouse, the design of both the hotel overall and the rooms is very classy and tasteful. The beds are very comfortable, however if you are a light sleeper, keep in mind you can hear everything’s that happens on the floors, the housekeeping was not always very mindful and not particularly responsive to our requests. One morning when we were offered room cleaning service and refused, but just asked some extra tea, the housekeeper just said she did not have any. Nevertheless, we asked Brandon for the tea refill and he made sure to follow up with us and with his tea in order for us to get it. The bar and grill place was fantastic for dinner, the service was top notch, everything we ordered was delicious and the drinks were also inventive. Overall, super happy that we chose this hotel for our Miami trip.

We stayed at Mayfair for 5 nights to join our friends and family for a weekend of wedding celebrations. Frankly we were disappointed with several factors. Not the cleanest space. All glass was filthy and foggy. The rooms are so dark- initially some of the bulbs weren’t working and we had no fridge. They changed our room to an equally dark room with a fridge. The tv didn’t work. They sent a tech two days no fix. We were unable to watch or stream anything for the remaining 4 days here. The walls are thin and we heard children screaming and running every morning. This is not a stat for a romantic experience. Pool is nice if you catch it when kids aren’t running around. There aren’t any blankets given the ac is extremely cold it was surprising, no ice. No fresh water. There are two towels and tissue to a room. Given the price of the stay, the amenities are absolutely below standard and the customer service as well.
