Great Spot

So Charming and Always Delightful - after driving on I95S to get to Coconut Grove one could say with confidence that they earned a cocktail- the drive is treacherous as many of the drivers are not skilled yet try to maneuver like race car drivers. The valet is one of the best in Florida- they know each persons car by memory. The hotel is in an excellent location- it is possible to walk to any restaurant in the Grove from there. The hotel concierge greeted me with a Peach Bellini upon arrival in the lobby then I was taken to a very well appointed room. You should request a room that offers a view of the water so you can enjoy a picturesque scene of the horizon and various boats throughout your stay. A lovely mix of Jonathan Adler products in the shower and a Body Cream that is blended in Italy exclusively for Mr C. You will go to sleep with complimentary chocolates left at your bedside which come from a local chocolatier. There is wonderfully strong and tasty coffee served complementary until 9am in the lobby or for my review of breakfast at their rooftop restaurant Bellini - see my review also - 5 stars.

Customer Service was unfortunately very poor given the reputation of the hotel. Disappointed in services including front desk, room service and restaurant. As a local in Miami not sure I would recommend. Booked multiple rooms for friends and family visiting.

The hotel is great, the service is excellent, and we’ll come back again. The location is in the center of Coconut Grove, which is a nice place to walk around after dinner. The only thing is the bed and pillows, which are not as comfortable as I would expect for that price range.

Excellent Staff Erica was amazing with help coordinate our business event. Her attention to detail and flexibility was so helpful, she took the stress out of planning. Working with her was a pleasure and made our event a huge success. The entire staff was professional and friendly - felt very welcomed.

The arrival service was exceptional and I was very impressed with Adolfo whom runs the cafe in the lobby. He was very attentive, friendly and provided a great Bellini and a warm welcome. He listens and genuinely cares about your experience. The rooms are clean, house keeping did an exceptional job and so did the front desk and valet. Everything matches the price until you go to the pool area and the restaurant. Unfortunately the pool attendant does not attend to the pool well. You would ask him for items and they just never came, I had to go to the stand. Guests next to me complained how long it took to get drinks and the attendant was not even busy. The restaurant staff took forever to greet us and I told one person I was waiting for a server, she smiled and walked away. I actually had to go back to the hostess stand a second time asking for a server. People next to me that I had never met before were complaining about pool and restaurant service as well. Everything else was perfect!
