Mr. C Miami - Coconut Grove

This review is based on two stays over the past two months. First, I will say flat out that the service here is as good as you will find anywhere. We have travelled the world and it is rare to find the unified dedication to hospitality that the Mr. C staff shares. I will give a special shout out to Daniel at the front desk, Alicia in reservations , Jorge at the lobby bar and Abel at the pool. Name your top world wide hotel brand-and these folks are even better than that. Moving on to the rooms-they are certainly not huge-but are very nicely decorated and make sure you get one with a Bay view. The view from your balcony will be impressive. Also-the location of the hotel cannot be beat. You are only a short walk to all that the Grove has to offer. We can't wait to return.

From the moment I arrived, Mr C exceeded every expectation, so much so that we are already planning our next stay. The service was absolutely impeccable—every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. The views from my room and Bellini were breathtaking, and the food was nothing short of outstanding. Every detail of my stay was thoughtfully executed—from a birthday cake in my room to a handwritten card—making it a truly unforgettable experience. Mr C has set the bar for what a hotel stay should be, and I cannot wait to return. Thank you so much for a memorable birthday weekend.

Jonathan at the front desk is so exquisitely kind and thoughtful. He offers attentive support - ice cold sparkling water after a hot walk on the ready Roberto the concierge knew perfectly how to advise us on things to do. Especially the Fairchild botanical garden!

We have been to Mr C's Il Giardino numerous times over several years, in particular on Friday nights to hear live music. It is consistently outstanding and a real gem and gift for Coconut Grove. It is a charming, intimate, beautifully landscaped patio. It has a very private clubby type feel even though it's open air. The staff is professional, friendly and the drinks and light fare are spot on. The different bands that rotate and play on Friday nights are outstanding and not to be missed. They play a variety of music, universally appealing and of course plenty of bossa nova. Il Giardino is lovely anytime but is unique with music on Friday nights.

So Charming and Always Delightful - after driving on I95S to get to Coconut Grove one could say with confidence that they earned a cocktail- the drive is treacherous as many of the drivers are not skilled yet try to maneuver like race car drivers. The valet is one of the best in Florida- they know each persons car by memory. The hotel is in an excellent location- it is possible to walk to any restaurant in the Grove from there. The hotel concierge greeted me with a Peach Bellini upon arrival in the lobby then I was taken to a very well appointed room. You should request a room that offers a view of the water so you can enjoy a picturesque scene of the horizon and various boats throughout your stay. A lovely mix of Jonathan Adler products in the shower and a Body Cream that is blended in Italy exclusively for Mr C. You will go to sleep with complimentary chocolates left at your bedside which come from a local chocolatier. There is wonderfully strong and tasty coffee served complementary until 9am in the lobby or for my review of breakfast at their rooftop restaurant Bellini - see my review also - 5 stars.
