About the Hotel

The crown jewels of Trump National Doral Miami are its golf courses, 90 holes of PGA-worthy turf that include The Blue Monster, Greg Norman’s Great White and Raymond Floyd’s gold course. Trump acquired the Doral property in 2012 and has since given it a $250 million facelift. Rooms were renovated in a warm neutral palette with mahogany and gold leaf Spanish Revival details, and luxe cabanas flank the new Royal Palm Pool. There are 800 acres and almost as many rooms at Trump National Doral, making the resort a city in itself.

Reviews for Trump National Doral Miami

Not coming back to this one.

This very expensive hotel is not well maintained. The carpets need to be replaced, rooms are dated and in disrepair with broken elements like the shower controls, sliding patio doors etc. The service is slow and often sullen. There is supposed to be a shuttle as it is a large property but the shuttle takes a long time to come and often does not come at all. They also overdo the fragrance that they pump into the lobby and common room so it is an unavoidable, cloying and unpleasant presence in the air. In the Miami area there are many better hotel options at this price point. I will not be back.

Valet needs training in hospitality or the country club should do valet in house to maintain better standards!!!

It's truly disappointing how a few details can ruin an otherwise festive evening. My family and I dined at the Champion restaurant on Christmas Eve, as we have for the past two years, but this year's experience fell far below expectations. The valet service was especially frustrating. When we arrived, there was no mention of any time limit on the valet. Our party of six adults and four children spent over $1,000 on our meal, yet when we left, two of our family members were charged $8 for valet service while I was charged $32 (4 times the cost for 15 minutes)despite us all arriving and departing within 10 minutes of each other. The third-party valet manager refused to listen to reason, even after the country club's manager (Sebastian) attempted to intervene with no success . His unwillingness to resolve such a petty issue left a bad taste after what should have been a joyful evening. To make matters worse, the valet staff was inattentive when we arrived, and the overall handling of this situation felt like an attempt to nickel and dime customers. Such a lack of customer care is disappointing for a venue of this caliber. The experience left me questioning whether the restaurant and valet service value customer satisfaction. I hope this feedback leads to meaningful improvements, as no guest should leave feeling this on a holiday. When a resort allows a valet service to undermine the overall guest experience, it reflects a serious failure in quality control and prioritization.

A wonderful stay at Trump National Doral

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We stayed at the Trump National Doral Miami in November to attend a special event. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted very warmly by the friendly valet, Sebastian and Front Office Associate, Larry, who were friendly and professional. Larry offered us a welcome beverage, followed by a prompt check-in – even though we were new to the Trump Privileges Program, we still received an upgrade! During our stay, Larry remembered us and routinely checked if we needed anything – a true professional. The Premier King Room was on the 2nd floor of the Tiger Woods Villa. The décor was warm and comfortable, with great sound insulation, and the carpet was thick and soft. The bathroom was a decent size but without a tub. The bed and linen were high quality and very comfortable. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. Trump National Doral is indeed a five-star hotel – from the friendly valets, front desk associates & managers and housekeepers - everything was top-notch.

Recommended yellow taxi service a shame for the Trump hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

A couple of weeks ago I was with my husband staying at the hotel and we thought it was wonderful, the excellent location the attention of the wonderful people. The only problem and I let you know was the service they gave us to go to the airport called us a taxi yellow from the front Desk that the driver had a rude and very bad attitude, the car was very dirty and stinking. It can't be possible for a hotel of that category to provide us with such a bad quality service. An anti-professional and ill-dressed super-informal driver, for my bad experience in that aspect.

Ana Ejio is amazing!

Ana Eijo greeted us at the doors of the white and gold ballroom for a lunch event between our meetings. She was so sweet, friendly and helpful. I’m so grateful to hear she was been here for more than 20 years, I appreciate when companies treat their employees well!
