I stayed at the VIK Milano once before a few years ago, my first visit I have to be totally honest was superb! Everything was perfect; rooms, staff & food all 5 stars quality! That's the main reason why I decided to come back this year; however my last stay was a NIGHTMARE!!! Everything was terrible, I have no idea why? maybe a change in management? not sure... 1) the room was very dirty and there were constructions going on the whole afternoon, I have complained to the hotel staff that the drilling was too loud and impossible to have a rest. The reply was, let me check the situation (staff didn't know that the hotel was doing construction renovation?? hard to believe!) after 30Min they confirmed that they were doing construction work and that they couldn't do anything about it (maybe change a room with less noise??) anyway, not tried to solve the problem whats so ever, and I have to say that the tone was pretty rude! (For a 500+euros per night room I expect a quite room is it to much to ask?) 2) Staff was soooooooo rude and not helpful at all; mainly a blond young guy and a blond girl at the reception (should have asked for their name) The only good part was their breaskfast; the food and the restaurant staff were superb! a thumb up for the restaurant manager, had everything in control! only downside is seems that they decreased the food selection, and have to pay extra for cooked items. Finally, after this experience I can say that I will not be back!

Terrible service. Noisy hotel from construction noise. Staff doesn’t care. We were really looking forward to our stay at Vik Galleria—more than any other hotel on our Italy trip—which included the Hilton Sorrento Palace and Hilton Molino Stucky in Venice. Unfortunately, it ended up being the biggest disappointment. Upon arrival, we were offered welcome beverages that never came, even after a long check-in process. As a family of four with two teenagers, I contacted the hotel in advance to confirm our room setup. We were told we’d need two rooms but they’d be close together. Instead, we were placed on the 2nd and 5th floors. One room’s keypad didn’t work, and the other—ironically—had enough bedding for all four of us, which we could’ve planned for if occupancy limits had been clearly communicated. Both rooms were hot and stuffy with no air conditioning. I understand the limitations of a historic building, but no fans or alternatives were provided. The upgraded Courtyard Suite was unbearably noisy due to ongoing construction. None of us slept, and when we voiced our concerns at checkout, the staff showed zero empathy. The only compensation offered was waiving the city tax (€7 per person, per day) for one room—which felt more like an insult than a resolution. For a hotel that touts itself as a luxury experience with Michelin recognition, the service and communication were severely lacking. I would not return, nor would I recommend it.

I stayed here for a night before heading off to Lake como. While they were sweet enough to give us an upgrade, the espresso coffee cup had been left behind from prior guests (and probably not washed in days), the room was unusually hot and the view was of a building construction. They took an hour to bring a kettle to the room. But, the most terrible thing is our private transfer from Milan to lake como where they charged us over 500 euros. we stayed at the grand teremizzo in como which is probably one of the finest hotels and they charged us 400 euros - so just saying. They also added an additional 50 dollar fee for two persons to stay in a room! I didn’t really understand this. While the hotel design is quite cool, the service was bland for the unusual fees they charge.

Stayed here on our last day for shopping before we headed back to the states . Check in was perfect . Everything was explained . Hotel is beautiful and very clean . Bar area nice. Drinks were okay . Service was good . Breakfast ( to go ) ordered two got one and it was ehh. Room stayed very warm . Tried to turn off heat but part of the room was still warm , no phone in room ( use Whatsup app ) and no curtains . Good concierge. Unique . Best location . Shower room ( title ) could use a good cleaning. Would I recommend this place, sure but I would not stay here again .
