Gran Melia's first property in Milan bursts into the city of fashion, blending a distinctly Italian flair and the essence of the capital of Lombardy with the warmest Spanish service. In the heart of Milan, close to the Duomo square and the Quadrilatero della Moda, the hotel offers a gateway to Milan's great cultural heritage through its deep knowledge of the city and its energy, contributes to the new renaissance of Piazza Cordusio and features Italian and international cuisine with sensational 360º city views.

Stay away Horrifying Experience – Theft, Suspicious Behavior, and Unprofessional Staff My stay at this hotel was nothing short of horrifying. After withdrawing 3,500 euros from the hotel’s safe, I had the money in my coat pocket 1900 inside the wallet the rest was not as I headed toward the elevator. Unfortunately, I fell down the stairs and broke my leg. The staff helped me back to my room, and due to my injury, I couldn’t move or check my belongings right away. The next day, before the ambulance arrived to take me to the hospital, I finally had the chance to check my coat and realized that part of the money was missing. It hadn’t gone missing on its own—it was stolen while the staff was assisting me. When I reported the theft to the hotel management, they initially promised to check the security cameras but made me wait for three hours. After that, they claimed I needed to provide a police report. Despite my broken leg, I went to the police station in a wheelchair to get the report. After all the effort I made, they gave yet another excuse, saying it was too late at night and I needed to wait until morning. The following morning, they refused again, saying a police officer needed to be present for them to open the footage. I strongly believe that the hotel staff knew who stole the money and were trying to cover it up. Their constant delays and excuses were highly suspicious. To make matters worse, every time I bought something from the market, the bags were sealed with stickers, closed very tightly. But each time I returned to my room, I found the bags opened, as if someone had been going through them to check what was inside. On top of this, my previous room smelled terrible, like a drainage issue, which made my stay even worse. Initially, the staff treated me kindly, but once I obtained the police report, they became hostile and treated me very poorly. Their behavior only added to my suspicion that they were covering for someone. This hotel was a complete disaster, both in terms of safety and professionalism. I would warn anyone considering staying here to stay far away. Something very suspicious is going on. I have the police report but for safety reasons i cant post it

Went to this Hotel for the first time whilst in Milan. Since I know well the city as we are frequent travellers we decide to try this Hotel. Rooms are well appointed , great size and very comfortable. The breakfast room is a the main bar on the ground floor , beautiful settings and fast and friendly service. We had dinner upstairs at the Japanese Sachi , good choice , good food and service just ok. For lunch we choose the bar for a comfort food and it was delicious , Juan our server was nice and friendly. At the Guest experience , nothing was ever a problem , very well run Hotel , will be back for sure. Overall a wonderful stay with professional and super relaxed personnel that made the difference compared to other Hotels of this kind in Milan.

We (my husband and I) just returned from our trip to Milan and had the pleasure of staying at the Palazzo Cordusio, a Gran Melia Hotel. It is a stunning property that was formerly the headquarters for a large Italian Insurance Firm that they have gut renovated to have all the offerings (and more) of a 5-star hotel. The rooms are beautiful and elegant/modern. Housekeeping & turn down service was always prompt and did an excellent job. They took the time to think about small touches that went a long way, for me this was providing both hair dryers AND straighteners (a bonus) and for my husband in addition to the usual amenity kits they had lip balm and rich hand cream which was a must with the chilly Milan weather. They had plenty of hangers and lots of storage so our bags/wardrobe could neatly be put away. They had 3 restaurants on site, a bar on the ground floor, an Asian restaurant on the 4th floor, and primary restaurants/patio on the 5th floor that serves breakfast daily. We never had an issue getting a table, even last minute, and the service was always impeccable. The spa in the basement is GORGEOUS, and I recommend bringing your swimsuit for a dip in the pool or at minimum just visit the spa for the steam/sauna. We had the hotel assist us with purchasing AC Milan tickets and they exceeded our expectations. They found us amazing seats and arranged transportation to the game for us. A huge thank you to both Jessica and Luca who were extremely attentive and helpful in making that experience happen. The location is steps away from the Duomo and the Galleria making it a desirable location for anyone wanting to be in the action of the city. For us New Yorkers we never had an issue with noise (the Milan tram system runs right by the hotel) but if you are a sensitive sleeper I'd ask for your room to be higher up (floors 3-4). We personally loved being so close to the transportation options as we had short commutes getting around the city in the cold weather. For anyone looking at this hotel, book it! We loved every minute of it and it will be our home base in Milan when we return.

I’m actually still staying at this hotel but had to stop everything to write a review. First of all, it’s in a lovely location very close to the Duomo. Second, the rooms are beautifully appointed —lovely linens & towels & robes & chocolates etc Everything you need for a lovely stay. The rooftop bar has a wonderful view of the Duomo as well. And most importantly is the level of service and friendliness of the staff. I’d give 6 stars if I could. They upgraded me to a junior suite, Gave me delicious coffee when I arrived, and even worked to get my room ready earlier than I expected. Literally everything is flawless.

Just got home from our fantastic trip to Italy with Milan as the final leg of our trip. This property served as the grand finale with the ultra modern room and amenities, outstanding restaurant and outdoor bar, and perhaps best of all, the outstanding staff. The hotel staff is elite and one of the best most accommodating and helpful staffs I’ve ever experienced (Seoul’s Grand Hyatt being the other). Daniel and his female colleague whose name escapes me at the concierge desk was simply first rate in all their recommendations. So was the front desk staff at check in who made us feel like royalty, and the front desk staffer who was so spot on on her recommendation of a local brand shopping area (near Brera) for what we were looking for. The female restaurant manager whose name I didn’t catch was so helpful and attentive to our needs. The location of the hotel is hard to beat (less than a football field walk to the Duomo) and shopping and restaurants. Bathroom was amazing and room came with every amenity imaginable from state of the steamer and some hair curling device I don’t know about but she appreciated. Overall, an outstanding, elite level property!
