This experience was incredible inconvenient. Booked this hotel through Expedia for one king room. I got here and they gave me a queen room because I didn’t book directly with them. They told me it’s not guaranteed. On top of that, the queen room they gave me was unprepared and dirty! They had to give me another room after the first one. I had to hassle for any sort of compensation for what I went through. This seemed so unprofessional for a high class hotel. I would consider coming back again if this was resolved and my experience was better.

Location (5/5) Conveniently situated in downtown Minneapolis near the MPLS Convention Center, making it easy to navigate the area by walking or rideshare. Accommodations (4/5) As a Titanium member, I received an upgrade to an executive king room on a high floor. While it appeared to offer slightly more space than a standard room, it's important to note that this property does not have an executive lounge—so the "executive king" designation can be misleading (I knew this ahead of time; sharing for others). The room itself was comfortable and exceptionally clean, though the closet space is limited. I appreciated the large TV and separate tub and walk-in shower. With only a few rooms per floor, my stay was remarkably quiet. Service (4/5) The front desk staff was welcoming and informative about the property. While I did experience a wait for breakfast seating, the service was efficient once seated. The valet team was friendly as I was coming and going. The team at the basement speakeasy provided outstanding service (tip: if using the stairs from the lobby level to the basement, be cautions of the last two steps that enter into the basement level as they can easily be missed). Dining (4/5) As part of my Titanium benefits, I received a $20/person breakfast credit applicable to any menu items. Contrary to previous reviews, I found the pricing comparable to other hotels in major cities. The food was good overall, though the scrambled eggs lacked flavor. Atmosphere (3/5) Unfortunately, the property lacked a "wow" factor that I would expect from a Luxury Collection hotel. Value for Money (3/5) Rack rates tend to be on the higher side. If considering a stay, booking through AMEX FHR may offer better value. Cleanliness (5/5) The hotel was immaculately clean in all areas. Overall Experience Overall, this was a pleasant stay, and I will consider returning. Definitely a great option for those preferring a Marriott property near the MPLS Convention Center.

Had a really great business stay here this past week in Minneapolis. I had stayed at this hotel once before and the staff had notes on my prior stay and were so insanely friendly to me and my team. My room and bathroom were nice, great Byredo products. The tv had streaming apps. The gym at this hotel is pretty decent and larger compared to most hotels. They also have a very nice spa on site with some French products that I really like and use at home. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, also offering texting services. The day after my check in they texted me to check in on me and make sure I was good. Given how extremely cold ( got to -9) it was during my stay the air was so dry. They were able to bring a humidifier to my room helping with my allergies and dry skin. During the winters in MN the heat is the only option. So I turned it off in the room - but there’s no options to cool off the rooms and the hotel also brought me a fan at requests and it really helped as well. The staff were just extremely kind and gracious here which makes a huge difference at a hotel stay. Overall great stay and would come back. Only recommendations for consideration - no coffee maker in room and zero tea options for those of us non coffee drinkers. They do have coffee in the lobby which is ok - but felt limited. Only other thing is no fridge in the room which I sometimes find convenient for snacks or certain medications. Otherwise all was great.

Amazing! We recently stayed at the Hotel Ivy to celebrate my husband’s birthday. When we arrived and checked in, Daniel shared that we were upgraded to another room, very nice surprise. In addition, he had a handwritten birthday card, delicious slice of cake and a bottle of Prosecco delivered to our room. What a thoughtful gesture and truly appreciated. The remodel of the property and guest room was beautifully done, we seriously didn’t want to leave our room! Every member of the team was friendly and welcoming. We’re already planning another stay and looking forward to it so much. Thank you again.

We enjoyed our 10th anniversary at Hotel Ivy. They gave us a great experience and surprised us with a bottle of Champagne, following our dinner close by at Butcher and the Boar. Overall a great hotel, with a lot of close proximity places for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also have a phenomenal workout facility for a hotel, and have a spa. Make sure to book spa far in advance.
