Had a staycation for Valentine's day with a workout in the morning! Things I liked: - the Gym. (it's huge, great equipment, not crowded) - the bathroom (bathtub and shower were luxurious) - friendly staff - 12pm Check Out (chef's kiss. more hotels should do this)

I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Centric. This hotel is clean, and central. Staff are friendly and warm and accommodating. Lovely food. Conveniently connected to the Skywalk system. Close to restaurants and other locations. A home away from home.

Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Food was good. Avocado toast was amazing! Staff were great. Parking in the ramp is not ideal, no direction. I got lost in the skywalk. Gym is good, however, there was no heat when I was there. It would have been nice to be notified ahead of time.

Great central location, fantastic, well-stocked health club. It's a historic building that's been renovated. We had a great 3 night stay over New Years. Convenient access to the skyway system and key sights, restaurants sports venues . We will definitely be back.

Very Strange Hyatt. (Feels very short staffed, otherwise super nice.) Sorry this is long, but the story deserves to be told. The ONE LINER: Beautiful hotel with tremendous potential, but short staffed and over priced, with terrible management, leaving you with a feeling of guilt when asking for help. Thumbs down. The STORY: Ok, I have stayed in several Hyatt, including several Centric and I have to say this one is...unique? Absolutely beautiful building, with (im told) a new remodel. But the flow of the place is kinda strange. I am writing this review very early on with plans to edit it after check out. First Impressions....the parking situation is bizarre. Picture it. It's the middle of a snow storm, super cold, and you've just driven 16 hours and are dying to check into your room. The entrance way is on the street covered with snow, but you make it inside. Upon check in You're told the only self parking available is across the street in another building with its own navigational challenges. You have a car full of things to unload, and a dog but the website states Valet is only available on the weekends...Oh well. You decide to go ahead and tackle the unload, but you ask if the parking could be invoiced to the room. The only desk agent (who is also the bartender and server of the bar area) first states "No" however this is likely because the poor lad is overworked, he is literally doing everything!) Anyway back to the story, well remember that helpful doorman you took for granted (his names Raiden...what a great name) over hears you and steps up to the rescue. He first informs you how the self parking works and how to access your car at a later time, but then informs you that Valet is in deed available ($50/night but you decide YOLO and hand over your keys.) Raiden, you are a SAVIOR. MVP The ROOM: Super nice and spacious. Very roomy and at a fair price. Great water pressure, great bedding. CONS: -The Parking situation (above mentioned) -You'll find no mini bar, or even an ice bucket in the room...but you will find the requisite $7 bottle of water should you feel so inclined. -Hyatt website displays a promo code to redeem for two free drinks at the bar. This was not honored. Shame. This review is in no way a reflection of the staff, all of whom have been very awesome and accommodating, I write this in hopes that changes are made by leadership to recruit them some help! They are absolutely doing a great job.
