A destination in itself, set on 400 acres of manicured grounds with two miles of beachfront. The accommodation at Half Moon has been designed with comfort and privacy in mind. With an abundance of space for comfort and relaxation, they have either patios or balconies, allowing guests to enjoy the peaceful views of gardens, pools and the sea from which a sweet and gentle breeze blows constantly across the resort.

Lovely place; nice room; beware of food prices. They are taking us for a ride. And the food prices have become a joke. Keep away. We make a picnic lunch at breakfast to avoid being fleeced twice a day. Breakfast is included but would cost $100 if it wasn't. Dinner last night was very good but having the cheapest possible still exceeded $200 for two. Should never have come here. Oh yes. a 1 hour massage in the spa is $200, 100 everywhere else. Crazy. Taking us all for idiots and leaves a nasty taste.

Excellent hotel with great beach and nod to old world luxury ! Food, service, room were all excellent. The grounds and the biking was a nice touch to explore the full property. The beach is well protected and perfectly clean. Didnt get a chance to play golf- but thats for next time!

Half Moon one of her favorite “stays” anywhere in the world. They have relaxation down to an art. We prefer the old part half Moon, Founder’s Cove, the architecture is just so appealing. We had a cottage with a pool, a 15 second walk to the beach. Three minutes the lobby, bars and restaurants. They missed no details. None!

We stayed in Rose Hall villa #89 and the BEST part about it was the team that took care of us during our stay: Suzan, Jeannett, and Charles. Suzan spoiled us rotten. She made coffee early for us and then we all were up, followed by a leisurely gourmet breakfast with familiar USA items and traditional Jamaican specialties. It was such a beautiful way to fuel up for our day's activities. We made a point of working off all that lovely food by taking advantage of the activities at the resort, including tennis lessons with the pro--Troy--that I also HIGHLY recommend. He was a patient teacher and my husband and I had a great work out while learning a few things to improve our game. Definitely try to book a class or private lesson with Troy if you get the chance. We also played pickle ball with our group of friends. There were lots of courts and at least when we were there, no wait! Beaches were clean and pretty. It was nice that they had bikes everywhere to borrow for tootling around the campus. At the end of the day, Suzan would have a beautiful traditional Jamaican dinner waiting for us. Everyone had something they loved--and we were a hard crew to cater to--vegan, vegetarian, carnivore, and omnivores! Everything was delish and served with warmth and Jamaican joy. I am definitely inspired to check out a Jamaican cookbook from the library to see if I can recreate some of the things she made for us. Jeannette had the villa tip top shape morning, noon and night. Charles took care of all our additional needs. The worst part about the whole trip was having to leave all the pampering behind! Thanks to everyone for a lovely vacation.

We stayed at Rose Hall Villa 89-Saphron Finch. Nov 8-13. FANTASTIC! Suzan, Charles and Janette took great care of us. The 3 of them could not have made us feel more comfortable and well fed! Delicious home made meals with a local menu. The villa was perfect for our group of 10. Bathrooms a bit dated but still nice and clean.

We just returned from a week away at the Half Moon resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It was a top-notch property with deluxe accommodations, supreme service and the most deliciously prepared foods we have ever had on an all-inclusive plan. We both agreed that we would return to Half Moon in a heartbeat.

From the time we got to the Half Moon resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, it was a lot more than advertised. The staff was more than helpful, the accommodations were better than excellent and they even upgraded us to the "royal suite." The food was first class, the choice of restaurants was great, and we enjoyed it so much. If you haven't been to the Half Moon, you really need to go there and witness for yourself why the Queen of England stays there.
