Absolutely worth it
My stay at the Half Moon is hands down the greatest place I have ever been. The location of the resort is some of the best I’ve been at with such beautiful scenery in every direction the room was immaculate. The thing that made this stay even more enjoyable was the amazing staff. From Brianna at the desk checking us in and teaching us about the island’s culture, to Jerome and his staff taking excellent care of us at the Managers Social, to Floyd topping off the night with great service at the Cedar Bar & Cafe, to the countless other staff members who I wasn’t able to get their names to acknowledge them. This was the most hospitable, welcoming, and truly enjoyable stay I have ever had.

Your family’s forever place
Exceptional family and couples experience. We are loving our time at Half Moon resort. The kids programming is top-notch, the kids snorkel, take tennis lessons, participate in equestrian activities. With the exception of a one-off blip with a single staff-member, we have been delighted with the kids programming. The food is very good. Diverse number of options to meet the needs of most palettes. We are content with the facility. I would like to see more attention paid to the pools - specifically the repair of missing tiles. Service is top-notch. We did a private family dinner and Alton our server, was amazing. He was attentive, proactive and highly effective.

The Halfmoon Experience
This is the best customer service experience you will find on the island of Jamaica. The staff is friendly, the compound is well-kept, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious. You will be right at home, if not better. This is the place you do not want to leave.

A Special Place for a Family Vacation
This was our second time returning to Half Moon and we are already looking forward to a third. Everyone who works at Half Moon is helpful and happy. The breakfast buffet under the trees is delicious and has something for everyone. We love our clean room with its beautiful view, drifting off to sleep and gently waking in the morning to the sound of waves. You quickly understand why guests return every year.

We just returned from a week away at the Half Moon resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It was a top-notch property with deluxe accommodations, supreme service and the most deliciously prepared foods we have ever had on an all-inclusive plan. We both agreed that we would return to Half Moon in a heartbeat.

From the time we got to the Half Moon resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, it was a lot more than advertised. The staff was more than helpful, the accommodations were better than excellent and they even upgraded us to the "royal suite." The food was first class, the choice of restaurants was great, and we enjoyed it so much. If you haven't been to the Half Moon, you really need to go there and witness for yourself why the Queen of England stays there.
