We stayed all-inclusive for 11 nights with our two children and two friends. The hotel is fairly clean but could use some updates—for example, the carpets are quite worn and smelly and the light shades along the corridors to the second floor are extremely dim & dusty. The hotel doesn’t feel as modern as it appears in the online pictures. Our room was a bit disappointing, with several broken items, such as a non-functioning TV, broken lamps, and a bathroom door that wouldn’t close properly. The lack of side tables was also frustrating. It’s strange that there was only one set of plug sockets positioned between two beds—considering there were four of us sharing the room, with phones, iPads, AirPods, and watches to charge. Having nowhere to place our belongings made the setup feel outdated and inconvenient. While we didn’t come to watch TV, I do like to have it on for background noise, which wasn’t an option. The food isn’t particularly authentic, but they do offer a good variety with changes every day. The water slides are great; however, the staircases could use some improvement. The hotel grounds are generally well maintained, and the views are stunning. I had a massage on the beachfront, but unfortunately, I couldn’t fully enjoy it because another guest and her friend sat nearby, chatting loudly the entire time. Overall, it’s a decent and safe hotel with mostly friendly staff. However, I wouldn’t return, as it feels too dated for my taste. It’s a 4-star hotel more so because of location facilities but it could do better.

This was our first time in Jamaica, and the first time staying at a Hilton resort. We booked through Air Canada vacations, coming from Toronto, Check-In at the hotel went smooth, except like every other vacation they try to sign you up for the time-share presentation when you arrive. The lobby, grounds, and the hotel itself were all well-kept, clean, and as I found out later all Hilton hotels have this signature scent in the corridors, some people don't like it, but we loved it. The room was spacious, clean, everything worked, and our partial ocean-view was beautiful. The Crabtree and Evelyn soap and shampoo is a nice touch. Others have said you could hear noise from other rooms, I can confirm this, the walls must be thin. Not a deal-breaker, but can be jarring in the middle of the night to hear noises in adjacent rooms, it's muffled, but it is what it is. The ice machine was not working properly on our floor, but one of the cleaning ladies took my bucket went to a different floor and brought me ice...so the customer service is amazing. The food was delicious, there is a mix of local Jamaican fare and typical American foods at every meal. The Jerk Hut by the beach did not disappoint, very tasty, also the Ice-cream is in the coffee shop is a must. The is reggae music playing from speakers all throughout the hotel inside and out, but we are reggae lovers and that's okay, so don't worry if you forget to bring your own music. The ambience of the night is very dreamy, for example smooth sax playing on a Jamaican themed stage while you eat dinner outside, bathed in Jamaican themed lighting...live reggae..etc... The beach at the hotel next to the lazy river was small, but we always found lawn chairs. It's not rocky inside, there is sign warning of 'sea urchins' but don't worry about it, nobody else does. The other beach cabana's were off limits post-Beryl, and there was more seaweed on that stretch of beach so we stayed on the smaller beach side. The drinks were good, try the Bob Marley's...a caution to be careful with the over-proof rum in your drinks, the rum sneaks up on you, and had me crying later on, lol, so if you're not used to strong rum...take it easy. I want to give a shout out to Tasherlee, Keon at the front desk who emailed me a post Berly update before we arrived to Jamaica, to ease my worries about hurricane damage, and also the bellman who helped to watch out for our taxi, his last name was Spence (young, bald-headed, good-looking). Like I said, no vacation is perfect. We settled our bill and went back home and later the hotel charged us for a cabana that was promised to us for free. Trying to contact the hotel, through email, was impossible. In the end I figured out the general manager's email and was able to get the charge reversed. So be sure to keep all proof of anything you get offered for free even after you leave. You may need it, like I did. Lastly, I would like to especially thank, Mr. Carl Ainscough the General Manager at the hotel who quickly rectified our billing issue, once I contacted him from Canada months later. In the end it was the perfect vacation. The hotel staff was perfect, and our experience nothing short of exceptional, our little boy (8) will remember Montego Bay forever, Thank you Hilton Rose Hall...

We went via "Resorts for a Day", and the guide who accompanied our bus ride was the worst part, and may have influended my whole experience/review, so keep that in mind. She spent the entire ride complaning that she worked too much and only the tourists got to enjoy Jamacia, that they (we?) didn't pay workers enough, and "something was going to happen" unless they did. Probably all true, though not a fun start to the day her company sold us, and she convinced me not to go back to Jamacia ever again. The resort itself was fine - not much in the way of beach, but lots of chairs and pretty palm trees, and kids would love the water park portion. I enjoy loud music for fun, but the inescapability of the base, even on the beach, was a problem. The staff were nice, the food was fine...but for a one day experience, I'd go to a public beach if we ever went back to Jamacia.

Disclaimer this is a family resort. This property was amazing. There was an abundance of food. The pools were large, and the lazy river was the best! The beach access was ok. The food was ok-resort tourist food. I did enjoy the fact that many events were available throughout the day. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful experience. As early as arrival I was treated well. Greeted with pleasant smile and wonderful costumer services. Check in too a little more time than I would have liked though. Our room was ok, a bit outdated in my opinion and especially the bathroom but I slept comfortably. The staff is friendly and pleasant, the food was wonderful. The kids club was ok as well. The night time entertainment was a little different, i liked that and alot of family fun. One of the best staff that I've had the experience of meeting in a long while. I really enjoyed my stay, it was so cozy and comfortable and I would definitely go back.
