No Gym Available
I have stayed in this hotel before, 4 or 5 years ago. It's not changed much although they are currently doing renovations and have a new restaurant. The rooms are nice, and the new restaurant has some good breakfast options. The main thing about my stay that was disappointing was the lack of information given about the renovations. I woke up at 6am to go the gym, went up the stairs, and was greeted by a construction zone on the entire 5th floor. I walked through the mess to the gym to find everything tarped and covered. I enjoy a morning workout when traveling, so I wish they had mentioned there was no gym amenities available. I will try a different hotel next time I stay in Old Montréal because of this.

Loved everything.
We loved the room, loved the restaurants, loved the staff. So helpful, especially Katrina. Jonathan was also great offering assistance before we even got there. The hotel is what we expected and more. We will definitely book again next time.

Excellent location, right in Old Montreal walkable to all great restaurants, pubs , shopping & Notre Dame. Room was spacious, loved the bed and comfy linens, bathroom nice size although could benefit from better lighting, upgraded toiletries and bigger towels. Service & Staff were terrific! Will be back next time for sure.

Excellent location
The staff at Hotel Nelligan were great as well as the staff at both adjoining restaurants, Mama C and Restaurant Méchant Boeuf. The location of this hotel cannot be beat as it is literally behind Notre-Dame Basilica in Old Montreal. It is convenient to get to as well.

Highly Recommend
I stayed on a Tuesday and was greeted by friendly front desk staff. The hotel was quiet with no rowdy people running through the halls at all hours slamming doors. My room was quaint and very clean. The cleanliness of the bathroom was 5 stars and I was impressed. The bed and pillows were very comfy and the linens soft. I look forward to my next visit and highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Nelligan was lovely, the location is superb, and the staff professional with personal touches. Our room was fantastic, bigger than any we had ever stayed in, and the restaurant was so delicious. When we couldn't finish our dessert, they sent it to our room for us to enjoy later

We recently booked the Hotel Nelligan. We stayed in a uniquely decorated and very stylish room. The king bed was heavenly with luxury linens. Every afternoon we sipped complimentary wine and ate French cheeses by the lobby fire. The staff could not have been more courteous.

We discovered nothing less than excellent room service, a first-class restaurant and everyone at the hotel doing their best to assure a first-class experience. While the weather was cold, the staff always made us feel warm, from our entry into the lobby, throughout our stay. This hotel is a definite must for future stays in Montreal.
