Le Place d'Armes Hotel & Suites

Our company had an off-site meeting in January 2025 and everything was absolutely prefect. From the service, the hotel, facilities, the food, etc. absolutely nothing bad to say. Pascal Ambrosi was extremely helpful in coordinating and organizing this event for us. Thanks to Pascal, everything was to perfection. We hosted a corporate event at Hotel Place d'Armes, and it was a great experience. The hospitality team was very accommodating to all of our requests. The amenities are spectacular and the restaurants are 10/10. I highly recommend this hotel for corporate events.

Our experience was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was luxurious and the location is ideal for those who want to walk Old Montreal streets. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Basilica, close to Rue St-Paul (5 minute walk) and surrounded by amazing restaurants.

Our stay at the Hotel D’Armes was magical. My husband and I stayed during the Christmas holiday. Not only was the hotel perfectly situated, close to many things such as the Old Port, the Basicila, and the Metro. The hotel also has two restaurants on site, where the food was delicious. In addition the spa—just relaxing. Even though all the staff members were warm and professional, it was the concierge, Ricardo, who went above and beyond. Simply put, he was wonderful. Not only did he recommend lovely touches to make our stay magical (such as flower bouquets and wine), but his knowledge of what would make a Montreal visit unforgettable was spot on. His attention to detail was fantastic. His warmth and sunny disposition no matter what questions we had were amazing. Also, his attentiveness to email questions really made me and my husband feel special. It is not easy working in the hospitality industry, but Ricardo made us feel like we were coming home at every turn. We highly recommend Hotel D’Armes and their exceptional staff.

Our first choice of hotel was not available. A little additional research led us to this gem. We can honestly say that it turned out to be the better choice! The entire staff from beginning to end were amazingly pleasant and helpful. What a joy it was to be greeted upon arrival by a smiling and friendly valet and bellman. Front desk staff and Ricardo (Concierge) were equally amazing. The room was well designed and appointed. Excellent quality food provided for breakfast. The location was ideal for our needs as well. Overall, we can attest that this was one of the most pleasant hotel stays we have experienced in years of travel. Looking forward to a future stay in this location!
