Le Mount Stephen

Superb staff and accommodations. My wife and I felt taken care of from the moment we arrived and they truly are hospitality curators. Bar George creates a great ambiance with the DJ and decor, and serves drinks that will satisfy most home-mixologists that are used to a proper kick!

Our stay Le Mount Stephen was excellent. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. All staff were proactive and friendly. We had a Deluxe King room, which was spacious. The bathroom and shower were very large and bright. Dining area and breakfast were fantastic. The bar is lively and can get crowded on weekends. The building is beautiful and location is great for walking to explore the city.

You won’t understand the level of service and attention to detail until you go somewhere else. We left Montreal for the Frontenac in Quebec city today. No one met our Uber to help us with our luggage. We stood in a queue with hordes of people to check in. At LMS we were met at the curb by handsome Chris who handled our luggage. We were greeted warmly at the gorgeous check in desk. Our room and bathroom in QC is small and disappointing after the size and luxury at LMS and costs twice as much. I must mention the toilet/bidet that salutes you when you walk in. Do your thing and walk away! William, the head concierge, spent lots of time with us planning an itinerary and finding dinner spots. I felt like I was leaving friends when we checked out. Loved the bar, the breakfasts and the dinner. Convenient to everything, can’t wait to go back.

My wife and I were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary with a trip to Montreal with 4 other friends, and we chose Le Mount Stephen as our hotel there. It was a great experience. It is a beautiful hotel, very modern and with wonderful amenities. We had a luxury loft terrace which was so roomy and so comfortable. The terrace had a beautiful view and was such a pleasant way to relax. The staff were attentive, accomodating and friendly and helped make the experience even better. It was the perfect choice for our special week.

Facilities and the staff were amazing. Room accommodations were spectacular and the restaurant bar had a great atmosphere. the entire mansion was an historic gem. William, the concierge was exceptional as was Jay in the restaurant and Alex at the front desk.
