A perfect blend of history and luxury
Our stay at Le Mount Stephen was exceptional. The hotel beautifully merges historic charm with modern luxury. The staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring a seamless experience. The room was spacious, elegant, and equipped with high-end amenities, including a heated toilet seat and rainfall shower. Bar George, set in the historic mansion, offered fantastic food and cocktails in a stunning setting. Its prime downtown location made exploring Montreal effortless. If you’re looking for a luxurious and unique stay, Le Mount Stephen is a top choice. Highly recommended!

Excellent property, great staff, well located as well
Excellent hotel, fantastic staff, very nice rooms, have the wonderful Toto Washlets in bathrooms (though Toto water could've been warmer, but maybe a factor of the very frigid outdoor weather & very cold tap water). Concierge folks were excellent with William the best of the best. Limiting factor is climbing almost a dozen stairs to enter property...and then back down to leave...especially in the snow.

Hotel Stephen the place to stay in Montreal Canada
From entering the front doors to reception, to the elevator and into the room, the hotel is spectacular with history. The room had a fresh air quality to it and the room had more than I needed. the bed was very comfortable and the softness of the pillow I requested was perfect. Bar George is a great place to sit and have a social after a long day of travel. Hotel Stephen is a great place to spoil yourself if traveling to Montreal Canada

An all around amazing stay. The accommodations are great and the staff are outstanding. The hotel is also ideally located downtown to explore all that the city has to offer. If you are visiting Montreal, look no further than Le Mount Stephen.

Lap of Luxury
One of the finest hotels I've stayed in anywhere, with many of details making the difference. The TV remote was intuitive and helpful, the parking garage was easy for downtown Montreal, the bathroom amenities were great. Staff were very friendly. For me it was a great mixture of the old mansion used for the lobby and a modern upscale hotel behind it. This was a splurge hotel and I hope to stay there again.
