Not what expected for The price

We made our reservation at the hotel through their website, but there were some issues. We selected a date and received a reservation confirmation email with dates different from those we had selected. When we called the hotel, we were told that in order to stay on the requested date, we would have to pay around $800 MXP extra, even though it was an error on the reservations website's part. Upon arrival, the staff was friendly, and the facilities were nice. Another thing I disliked was that when we went downstairs to use the coffee bar in the hallway, the bread was cut into several pieces; it wasn't a whole piece, or it would be better to have cookies. You have to go back and forth to the room several times if you want more than one cup. When I wanted to get a second cup, I couldn't because the pitcher wasn't on the table. I didn't know if someone else had brought it to their room or if the staff had taken it for a refill. My companion and I were only able to get one cup. Additionally, there was noise at night from nearby areas. This is clearly not the hotel's responsibility, but it does affect your rest. Landscapes are breathaking, maybe for that reason we would come back again.

AMAZING

This is a hidden gem! I absolutely loved the place; the rooms are really nice, the staff is super friendly, and the food is delicious. We also had a massage, which was very relaxing and a complete full body treatment for 50 minutes. The free activities are incredible as well; they offer gong sound healing and yoga sessions (holy moly, it was amazing!). I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a space to relax and feel peaceful.

Our Friend’s Big Fat Morelos Wedding

We traveled to Mexico from the US with another couple, selecting Mision del Sol due to its close proximity to the wedding we would all be attending. After parking our rental car in the adjacent gated lot, we were escorted through the imposing wooden doors and up the gently sloping path. We were then greeted by a gracious staff who would ultimately anticipate our every need, delivering an exceptional stay not soon forgotten. The beautifully landscaped grounds with fountains, flowers, and enormous tropical plants created a serene atmosphere of complete privacy and a feeling of security. Although we didn’t have the time to take advantage of the many available activities, we did enjoy attentive service at the stunning pool and jacuzzi. The rooms were clean, beds and pillows very comfortable; a courtesy turn down service with chocolates every night, and a small table with coffee and treats in the garden every morning. When not at the wedding, we found ourselves having every meal at the resort’s restaurant, where they specialized in carefully prepared dishes featuring authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. From generous plates of pan de muerto and concha, to perfect handmade tortillas and guacamole, to the best eggs Benedict, bowls of fresh fruit, silky yogurt, and local honey, everyone could hardly wait for breakfast. And lunch. And dinner. The amuse bouche of grilled flatbreads the chef sent out on several occasions was delicious and unexpected. And although all of the staff were friendly and attentive, it was Raul who went above and beyond, providing impeccable service, taking the time to translate the menu into English, even providing bags of ice to my wife who was recently recovering from knee surgery. All in all a wonderful stay, quiet, peaceful, relaxing, and greatly appreciated.

An exquisite property, highly recommend it for people looking for a quick getaway from Mexico City, the property is far more beautiful than the pictures. I would definitely recommend this place as couples only. But the grounds are stunning
