Boasting magnificent views of majestic Mount Kenya, the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club Resort's 120 luxuriously appointed hotel rooms, set in over 100 acres of landscaped gardens, offer a unique blend of comfort, relaxation and adventure. Its no wonder that this Nanyuki resort emerged as winner in the 2013 Travellers Choice Awards and that Travel & Leisure Magazine often positions it in the 'World's Top 50' List. Originally the retreat of movie star and Club founder, William Holden, the Club's illustrious former members have included Winston Churchill and Bing Crosby.

Best services. Mugo house keeper was the greatest. And the receptionist who served us was good. He was able to answer all our questions about the hotel. A great plumber walked in and within two minutes our tap was working properly. We truly appreciate them all. We look forward to another visit soon.

The word “magical” is often misused….here, you feel it does not describe the location fully. Excellent service in a paradise-like setting. The majestic Mount Kenya frames the backdrop of the magnificent landscaped grounds; the food is wonderfully fresh all round, and served with warm smiles. This is a place you truly don’t want to leave.

Thank you Fairmount . I’ve had the most perfect stay . The serenity , the beautiful rooms, very thoughtful games/activities for both my baby and ourselves, your staff members were all so nice and helpful to us . What I enjoyed most : My first ever horse riding with Simon in the conservancy . A 10/10 experience.

Amazing experience with friendly staff. Dining attendants did a fantastic job, room service by Paul Mugo was outstanding too. Good choice of outdoor experiences, horse riding, good view, birds around for company, children playing area.

We were on vacation as a family and at last minute Informed of no shorts for males at dinner after arriving at the restaurant and a front reception employee who tried to convince us that we were ‘fully informed during booking’. Without pausing to wonder why we would choose to be driven back to the rooms to change!. This was quite infuriating because we were not given a choice needless to say we also learnt that even ladies better wear long dresses otherwise no dinner. Sitting here wondering what reception traditional Maasai attire would receive. Especially at the Native Maasai land the building site is located in .
