Six Senses Kaplankaya is nestled in the breathtaking natural beauty of Bodrum’s northern Aegean coastline. Undulating hills clad in evergreens, wild olives and cypresses amplify the invitation extended by the warm breeze and the gently lapping waves of the turquoise sea. Offering a truly unique mosaic of architecture, history and art, the resort is within easy reach of many archeological sites including two of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

We stayed last September for a week. It’s gorgeous location on a lovely pristine beach with clear waters. The breakfast was beautifully done as was the great lunches at the beach bar. We ate mainly at the out door restaurant and the grilled octopus was amazing. The service was excellent. Just be aware. If you want to get a bottle of spirits for your room, either go outside of the hotel for purchase or choose Turkish own version of your spirit of choice. We were charged an eye watering amount for Grey Goose. EYE WATERING!! The staff were excellent and the Turkish lady who makes the homemade Turkish breakfast breads was an amazing cook!!!

The uniforms of the waitress's and waiters were stained which shows Hygiene is not a priority here, Food quality in all three restaurants was very good and service was very good too they really do their best to please you. The fitness facilities and the Tennis courts etc.. was top quality. The sea is not clean but this is beyond their control, the area is over built and they are still building more but there isn't the infrastructure to support it the are done have a proper sewage recycling system so you can imagine the rest

This is hotel is supposed to be for Families with children. I am seriously baffled and amazed that Six Senses do not warn parents about the polluted sea. Due to the Massive fish farms about a mile of the coast which is visible from the hotel, the sea is polluted. Enormous amounts of fish feed, feces and chemicals are released in to the environment every day and this is very dangerous for swimming. This hotel should close the beaches immediately. Apart of this the food is. very good and staff very polite and efficient.Rooms very comfortable

Had two rooms here for seven nights. We stayed here before in 2018 and had a lovely time as you will see from my review at the time, the resort then was fairly small and not too crowded, since then it has really grown into a much bigger affair but has not lost any of the excellent service from a very professional team who are polite and super efficient. The rooms are very well laid out with everything you could want , a well stocked mini bar, quiet aircon, comfortable beds and great housekeeping. Breakfast is a lavish affair with a huge selection of pastries, cereals, cheeses and hot made to order or serve yourself, all delicious. All the restaurants are excellent with amazing with well cooked food particularly in Wild Thyme which has some of the tastiest Asian fusion cooking that you will ever eat!! Pre dinner drinks to watch the sun go down at the Sunset Bar with cocktails expertly made by a great barman and served by the ever smiling Ozlem who must get a special mention. All the restaurants have an extensive wine list, well priced for the calibre of the resort. There is a mega gym and wellness centre with great treatments to chose from which we used every day. One of the beaches was closed so everyone had to try and get a beach bed which wasn't easy if you arrived after 9am so the management might want to think about this issue. But my one and only complaint regarding what is a lovely beach is that some VERY loud children were running around screaming whilst their parents did nothing to control them, so much so that I saw at least two other families with children make a complaint about the level of noise, maybe the beach needs to have a "quiet area" roped off to help with the problem, it does need to be addressed as it makes for an unpleasant experience for those people trying to relax on what is a great beach. We had a great time apart from the beach issue and would go back again maybe out of the main holiday seasons.

Beautiful relaxing resort with wonderful staff. Travelled as a family of 5 (children aged 7, 4 and 2). Spacious and high specification accommodation in a hillside villa with private pool. Rapid golf buggy service to main resort for restaurants and beach. Kids club excitement with nice relaxed vibe and sustainable activities. Staff were fabulous and a big shout to Can Ergel, Emre, Can Ozener and Ozgur - a great team who looked after all of our needs brilliantly. Well done team. We would love to return.
