VIETNAMESE HOSPITALITY AT ITS BEST
The 3 hr drive from HCMC is the only negative to staying in this resort. Once in the Anantara Hotel though this is soon forgotten. Top service, cleanliness, friendliness. All the staff make you feel very welcome with every interaction. Great pool, spa and food. The most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. Would definitely return.

Far better than expected
From what I’ve seen this is the best resort in the area. The staff are eager to help, rooms are big and the bathroom is one of the nicest I have experienced. To be very honest, I was not expecting such a luxurious, excellently run 5 star resort, but was very impressed. Food and drinks are expensive but that is what I’d expect, and the only downside. Some other restaurants, cafes and bars are nearby but compared to the luxury of the Anantara these are a bit lacking. The grounds are beautiful. When you sit down for breakfast you look over the huge pond (big fish) to the infinitely pool and beach beyond. The 2.5 hr transfer was worth it to have some relaxation after Saigon.

Perfect resort
Every detail in perfect balance! Not big, super comfortable. Staff extremely professional and kind The only place with really good coffee, outside of Itally and Albania!

Beautiful hotel let down by poor service
The hotel's attractive gardens and swimming pool front directly onto the beautiful public beach. Our standard room was very spacious with super king sized bed, fridge, balcony with chairs, hairdryer, separate bath and shower and luxury toiletries. The buffet breakfast was the best we have experienced with a vast choice of super fresh produce. We were equally impressed with the spa where we received full body massages. The only negative was the unfriendly nature of most of the staff (excluding the spa). Restaurant, bar and reception staff never greeted us at any time and seemed to have other priorities impacting their efficiency and assistance. We were staying with a large tour party and most had the same experience.
