Staff attentive & service good. Club lounge comfortable and had a nice vibe. Breakfast was tasty and staff including Jahnavi, Roopesh, Bharat & Paras were helpful and polite. Loved the room. Spacious with modern fittings. One negative - didn’t like the pillows- a little too lumpy!

Delighted to report on a fabulous stay for a night at the Taj Lands End in Mumbai. From the very moment, we entered the property, we were treated like royalty -check in was impeccable - detailed, courteous and true TAJ style. Our son was upgraded to a room similar to ours (ocean facing) and next to us, and we were allowed a late checkout due to our international flight later in the evening. Beautifu and spacious rooms -ocean facing. Bathrooms was luxurious with fabulous taj toiletries. Room service was prompt - we ordered tea to the room and it came with cookies which were delicious. A few opportunities for improvement - breakfast service could have been more efficient and prompt - for a five star plus hotel, I would have expected service to be more personal. We had to wait for someone to come to our table to take tea, coffee, orders. It was hard to get attention of the team and the service was slow. Service at the bar also was slow in comparison, we had to wait for at least 15 minutes to get a drink .

Whilst we faced a few hiccups during our stay, once again, we were delighted to be greeted and looked after by Viren and Sakshi, who really went the extra mile to make us feel at home. The rooms are a little dated and noisy. The hotel must look for a solution when weddings are being held as guests are immensely impacted by queues during breakfast, coming into and exiting the hotel + loud noises on corridoors.

In January 25, we stayed at the Taj Lands End twice, for a total of nine days. We were part of a larger group, and this review reflects the views of the group. We would not recommend the Taj. Rooms are inconsistent, and some are very tired. Hot water can be intermittent. The beds, though, were the most comfortable we experienced in India. The housekeeping staff was by far the most friendly and helpful of the Taj staff. Our main issue was charging for the bar/room service, so we wanted to alert future guests "TAJ TACTICS". 1. When you do not specify a brand, you are Upsold to the most expensive brand 2. In a large group, additional drinks were sometimes added to the bill 3. At the busy checkout, you will not have the time to review but do 4. Queries went into a British-Raj-type bureaucracy ADVICE 1. Always request a drinks menu 2. Always check and sign your bill 3. Don't let the bureaucracy wear you down 4. There are better value options in Bombay

We had a great time with family during our stay at the Taj Lands end Mumbai. The room was very comfortable, the service was very good. Especially want to thank Marie and Devendra. Anushka made our checking process quite pleasant even though the rooms were not ready and we did have to wait for an hour before we got it. Although a few things were not to my satisfaction as a long term Taj Loyalist; the breakfast at Vista- Food range was good but the service was lacking… we had to wait quite some time before we could get our requests through and that too without any friendly face. The only person who was smiling and was cheerful was the person making pancakes… sorry couldn’t quite catch his name. Music in the background was lovely but was not respectful to the artist. She should have been given a proper podium for her performance. The live music being played at the coffee shop at the lobby level is quite loud and doesn’t allow the customers to indulge in their own private conversations; and if do … we have to be very loud. This is not respectful to the artist nor to the customers. Staff serving there again appeared unhappy.
