Just like any other 3 star hotel. Nothing special about the quality and experience of stay. The rooms were okay with minimal utilities - you have to call hotel service desk for every small thing in room. And there is a second tower which is a short walk but there is no assistance from hotel staff to help with luggage.

Overall a good stay . As we had planned full day trips didn’t get much opportunity to explore the hotel . The check in was good . The first room allocated has issues . Someone had left behind their dirty n wet laundry behind the curtain which was not cleaned by the housekeeping staff n came as a shock for us when we checked in n moved the curtain late at night :( had to get the room changed late night . Service was as expected but they missed the opportunity of customer delight for making up for service miss . The location isn’t suitable for tourists as there are no direct trams / metros nearby to connect to the main station .the distance is quite a bit everytime you have to go to the city centre . I knew this before staying but still wanted to try the Andaz property. Wil i come back . Maybe not . One for the location in terms of transportation second there are no good restaurants/ shopping chains nearby to explore at night

The room was fantastic! Had everything that I would want in a hotel room. Loved the location and the cleanliness of their rooms. The portions at their restaurant was large. I didn't like the pumpkin, and almond spread provided with the bread. Close to shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed my stay.

Just returned from our Europe trip for 20 days. We started at Andaz Munich and was joined by 7 friends. We used Hyatt points for our stay as we booked early and value was incredible given the cost of hotels. Hotel recognized all the rooms under my Globalist status so was provided complimentary breakfast each morning. Rooms were great, on the masculine side in terms of decor. Only complaint was the pillows were way too thin. Rooms were upgraded to better view but no suites were available. Two free beer/wine coupons upon arrival also. Check-in process was smooth after coming off the red eye. Here is where they go from a 4 star to 5 star experience. We arrived around 9am and rooms were not ready given they were full (due to Oktoberfest). They still offered us to have breakfast that morning then called up to the spa/gym area and get us setup to go enjoy the sauna/steam/locker room area. This really made the difference and access to this area is included for all hotel guests. They did mention that it's normally not included in check-in time which for me is pretty awkward policy if guests are staying that evening but they were able to make an exception. Hopefully this becomes standard moving forward as its an incredible offer for those arriving off red eye and really sets them apart to know you have a backup plan if rooms aren't ready. The spa area is incredible for a European hotel. Competes with most resort locations. The locker rooms was extremely large, luxurious with sauna and steam and 4-5 showers. Then you enter another area with a shared coed larger sauna and steam. Plus there's an incredible quiet lounge and another relaxation lounge. Given we were coming off the red eye it was the perfect spot to enjoy a quick nap in the most ideal setting. Then you can head up the stairs and enjoy the pool and loungers surrounding the pool. A quick breakfast, nap, shower and were able to change to head to Oktoberfest. Our rooms happened to all be ready at 12pm so were able to drop our bags before we headed out. We spent very little time in the hotel but the location worked perfect. It is def further away from everything but we took the tram both days to Oktoberfest which was super easy with just one change and also took it to the train station upon departure. In the evenings we would uber/taxi back from downtown which was approximately 35 Euros. There is a great Asian fusion restaurant right across from the hotel that we really enjoyed after a long day. Nice to be a few steps walk back to your room. Also enjoyed the rooftop bar one evening. Trendier than you would expect given the location but high quality cocktails. The lobby bar seemed to always be open and even when they would close in the evenings they were flexible with their last call. Breakfast each morning was great, as it was extensive Buffet plus you could order off the menu. Again this was included with Globalist booked on points. Finally service was awesome. We were only there 3 days but the front desk knew our names and were great to offer suggestions and just see how they could help. Will stay at Andaz Munich every time I come back to Munich. Great character, two awesome bars, location is easy, rooms were perfect. Only slight feedback is letting us control the AC more as they capped how low you could make the room and just didn't seem to get cold enough the entire stay.

Top Quality Hotel! Beautiful design. Atmosphere is excellent. Staff deliver very attentive service. Location is ideal. Cleaning spot on. Roof top is incredibly nice. The sense of arrival extremely seamless. Spa & Gym offer elevated level of service and equipment.
