Super nice authentic atmosphere when walking into the impressive lobby! Location is great, directly by the sea and in easy reach of all sight seeing attractions in Muscat and Muscat airport. The entire Grand Hyatt Muscat team was very welcoming and took great care of us. Thank you so much for a great stay! Thank you Hyatt for making my wife's birthday special 🥳

There was a definite feeling of potential for an amazing hotel when we stayed here on a business trip in February 2025 but with renovations going on it tempted a return visit. I was disappointed not to be able to swim but good alternatives were available. Besides the thing to do is really to go for a walk outside at the end of the day and take in the muscat family life. Hope to go back to see all the good work,

The hotel was a construction site and this was not disclosed before our stay. Every facility and restaurant was closed. No pool or beach access. No food. The staff was rude and unhelpful, blaming others and making excuses. I asked for an explanation and follow-up from hotel management, which never happened.

I’m sure the hotel was nice, and will be nice when the refurbishment is finished, but until then unless you’re after just a bed and breakfast it doesn’t have much to offer. When we went to everything was closed. We knew a few things would be impacted as a result of the refurbishment, but really everything is closed aside from the bedrooms and breakfast offering. There is an offer of the local public beach, but no towels provided for this. As well as transfer to a nearby hotel to use their pool, but there is only 3 set pickup and drop off times each day, so you’re quite restricted. Worth a visit when the building is finished, but until then I’d go elsewhere

We are very happy about the room eventhough there is no such view of the beach. The hallway smells clean and the room are very spacious. Kudos to the attentive staff from the front of the house Mr. AHMED, the HK staff (forget the names) all are very hospitable and kind. Most of all, applause to the chef who makes the Hummus in our sumptuous Sahoor. It taste perfectly amazing! The hummus stains in our mind. Yum! (Zak&Aisha)!
