All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is under renovation but this had minimum impact on my stay. The hotel arranged airport transfers and a city tour for me. I enjoyed the meals during my stay. The location is near the Embassies precinct, right on the beach.

A wonderful hotel where staff were attentive and helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing- such a huge choice. The rooms were spacious and the balcony had a lovely sea view. Beds were comfortable and bathroom very well equipped. Renovations were taking place on the pool and lobby area, but this in no way affected our stay.

Yes the hotel grounds are undergoing refurbishment. If you want to use it as a resort then this is not a time to visit but if it's a base from which to see Muscat and surrounding areas then it is currently a bargain. We found the staff extremely helpful and "glad" of visitors. The food in the outlets that are currently open was excellent. Our rooms were clean and large and it is only a 2 min walk from the hotel exit to the beach. It's not a beach to lounge on, very active with locals but a very nice paved path beside it which was perfect for morning and evening strolls.
