In crystalline waters between the Mediterranean and Aegean seas is the legendarily beautiful and mythically astounding island of Mykonos, with its beautiful golden sands and sunny tranquil atmosphere. On the southeast side of the island, just 12 miles from Mykonos Town, in Kalo Livadi, is the fabulous Pietra E Mare. This luxurious escape, for couples only, welcomes you with classical Greek style in traditional whites and blues, crafted with a mesmerizing design that breathes love and romance. Spacious and relaxing, with large picture windows allowing Apolloâ€(TM)s natural light to flood your room, you will relax in the warm elegance of this beach paradise. Delight in the breathtaking sea views from your balcony, and sip a glass of wine with the one you love, as the sky flares to life in the beautiful hues of the sun set at Pietra E Mare.

We cannot recommend this lovely quiet hotel enough! It was so relaxing and peaceful. It was like having our own private villa in a beautiful location. From start to finish all the staff were professional and friendly. Maria, Daene, Panos, Effie, Andrew and Michelle made our holiday in Mykonos. Especially Andrew's playlist music in the bar and all their smiling faces despite being the end of the season. They have all worked so hard to make this hotel what it is and do not deserve any negative comments. The cleanliness, fantastic breakfast and jacuzzi hot tub were fab. Thank you Mykonos Moments for a wonderful holiday.

A great location to explore the region, the accommodation is excellent, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Two outstanding members of staff our cleaner and Andrew who looked after our needs in the restaurant and at the bar. His choice of music was excellent and made the place more vibrant. A must place to visit.

We spent a week at the Pietra e mare hotel with my partner, and the experience was better than we expected - it was hard for us to leave! The hotel is located on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island (for us, the most beautiful), the view is breathtaking, the hotel is quiet, ideal for couples. The staff is unbelievably kind, so thank you again to Maria for the attention you gave us, which made our stay even more incredible, and thank you also to Michelle for your kindness. If we come back to Mykonos, we'll definitely come back to Pietra e mare hotel.

We have just spent 7 days here, prior to coming we were very sceptical as the reviews were minimal. But this place, the views, the staff, the location were perfect. Firstly manners go a very long way here… please and thank you should be something we say daily, but many just don’t seem to like using them We were upgraded to a junior suite, with Jacuzzi, very lucky. Room - was clean, fresh and cleaned daily and the view was perfect. Not that you will spend much time in it. Pool - fresh towels replenished throughout the day, pool clean and a great temperature, always spare beds with amazing views, also double cabanas spotted about the front to also enjoy the views. Bar - opens around 12, but if no one is there be patient, your on holiday they are helping someone else, but they will be there. Breakfast - same choices each day, but those choices tick the box. Hot, cold, fresh fruit, pastries, coffee, juices and staff ready with a smile. Lunch & Dinner. Same menu, but many different options. I’m sure some will moan on prices, but we ate at a few restaurants and cost was pretty much the same. There’s other restaurants on the beach, slightly more expensive but food is great and as are the staff. Staff - Young, attentive, and courteous. They are busy, so if you have to wait a bit, turn your head and take in the view it’s stunning. They will get to you… please and thank you and a smile, it’s really that simple. Taxis - front desk will organise a transfer if needed. It’s 120 euro return to the town of Mykonos but worth a visit, early or late. Again not cheap, or hire a car but that’s the cost. The whole place is white, is clean, and full of staff ready to help, just ask and be patient. If you want a place to chill and be surrounded by stunning views and no stresses then I highly recommend. Again not the cheapest island but you can always make more money…… but you can’t always make memories. Enjoy

We spend 4 days there after an offer from Secret Escapes that looked good. The Hotel had only been opened a week before we arrived (no mention of that in the Secret Escapes offer) and it was DEFINITELY not ready. Lovely bar space but not open. The restaurant was, at best, average (had the worst pizza ever there, as the choice of dishes was limited) and certainly not a 4 star. Short of staff even though the ones available did their best to compensate. Definitely need a car to go anywhere which, in Mykonos, is very expensive. Taxi to Mykonos town 45 euros. Not a lot near by apart of two beach bars/restaurants with high prices. We we recommended to go the Ano Mera, a small village, 20 euros ride away, as the choice of food and atmosphere in the hotel was poor. Lots of touristy restaurants there but not very good. (see restaurant reviews). Michelle, the manager, was excellent and did her best and so did the two lovely receptionist (both 3rd year students of the Tourist college in Athens, not what you expect for a 4* hotel). The boy that served the food in the restaurant doubled up as drink waiter in the bar ( if you insisted) and luggage handler together with the girl receptionists!!! Our room was a large suit with an outdoor jacuzzi but needed a lot of work still doing to it. Perhaps this time next year it will be a good place to stay but Secret Escapes should be a lot more careful what the offer. Not to mention we found out that we cold have had a better deal even directly with the hotel.
