Exceptional Service and Our Go-To Hotel!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! Every time we’re in town, this is our go-to place to stay, and for good reason. The hotel itself is always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but what really makes the experience special is the staff. During our most recent visit, the front desk agent, Jolly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He was incredibly nice, helpful, and even surprised us with a room upgrade! It’s that level of service that keeps us coming back. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, the amenities are great, and the overall atmosphere is warm and inviting. If you’re looking for a reliable, top-notch place to stay, I highly recommend this hotel. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

The stay here was amazing. The property is always clean. I like the quiet location. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Sam at the valet desk. Will continue to stay when at this location whenever I come to visit Myrtle Beach...

A Relaxing Escape

Marina Inn is a lovely gem on the Grand Strand! Quiet and unassuming, this hotel offers a significant sparkle when it comes to personal attention and polite courtesies. We were greeted immediately and check-in was a breeze! Sam (“Sam I Am”) ensured our belongings were taken to our room safely and offered a brief run-down of the amenities along the way. With hot tubs, pools, spa, restaurants, and plenty of area attractions, we knew this was the perfect locale. Sam guided us through the room amenities, beautiful view, complimentary robes, spacious bathroom, large television, and made sure we felt comfortable. A true gentleman with an infectious laugh, and definitely a trusted ambassador for the Inn! Our room was clean, the perfect temperature, and picturesque view (overlooking a gazebo and lush green grass—-wedding anyone?). The whole hotel carries a sort of old world charm and comfortable friendliness you don’t find too much anymore. It’s worth checking out…and say hello to Sam if you do!

Beware....HVAC issues

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Spent 3 nights at Marina Inn in late February 2025 on a golf trip. Overall the resort is fine, very clean and a nice location. We had a 2 bedroom unit overlooking the intracoastal waterway. The unit was large with 3 balconies and very well appointed. Here's the issue. Upon check in we noticed the temp in the living room was 74 degrees (too hot for us). We called and they sent an engineer immediately Long story / short... after trying for 3 days the temp never got below 74 degrees. The front desk never communicated with us once about the issue. We were finally told (by the engineer) on the last day that this unit had a blown capacitor and the resort management did not have spare capacitors on hand. They had to order a new capacitor. After sleeping with our sliding glass doors open all 3 nights to keep the bedroom cool they finally confessed to the problem. This is very poor customer service or customer service 101....take care of the customer!! Upon check out the told us they'd have the Customer Service Manager call us but it's been over 3 weeks and no communication. They knew the issue on our first night yet never offered to move us. It gets pretty steamy in Myrtle Beach in the spring and summer months. Better make sure your AC is working when checking in or asked to be moved.
