Do not go for a spa here unless you like to be eaten alive by Mosquitoes. My friend and I didn't even get offered a tea or water upon arrival. They didn't show us any of the product they were going to use on us. I had the lifting facial. It did not feel any different to the facial I do on myself. For $250 this is just an absolute rip off. I almost want to go ask for my money back. Not impressed at all!

WhIle staying at the Waitui Beach Club my husband and I decided to do something different and exciting! We went paralflying! We are both retirees, so not spring chickens, nonetheless we like to have fun and try new things. Well let me tell you it was the most exciting thing we hd done in a very long time! The two guys who were in charge, Steven and Manasa were the most professional, safety oriented people we have experienced. They were also very friendly and made sure that every moment of our experience was perfect. Our safety and enjoyment were paramount for them. They are experts in this field , we just had to sit on the boat get strapped in and slowly were lifted up into the heavens. Meanwhile one guy was watching us from the boat and taking continuous photos and even videos, whilst the other one was on a ski jet following ensuring all went well. Landing was also seamless, we just landed back on the boat without an issues, ! Their expertise was amazing! I strongly recommend the paraflying experience to all, it is perfectly safe and nothing beats being up with the birds looking down at the islands and the changing colours of the sea. We even saw a baby shark and a huge turtle whilst gently floating high up in the sky. Truly a wonderful experience! We also hired the hobycat several times and sailed around the bay. This too was a great experience, the life jackets were in excellent condition, so was the little cat. In fact all equipment at Deanarau Surf Dive & Ski is meticulously maintained in top condition. All in all a pleasure dealing with such a friendly and professional group.

Amazing Place. Special! We actually visited here December 2020 just before Covid hit. Check in was a bit delayed which was unfortunate, however upon reaching out room it was perfect overlooking the ocean. Was so special, breakfasts on the beach was amazing. So many options. Loved how the staff took time out to sing and celebrate with guests. Loved it, would definitely return if not so far away!

Because of our “Dining Experience” at the Reserve, I’ll rate it “Very Poor”. We had reservations at 6:30 and arrived early. The entire dining room had maybe 4 tables occupied but we were seated next to a partition on a major walk through. We asked if we could be seated next to the windows with an ocean view. The hostess said we could not because a party of 20 had that entire area reserved. We pointed to another table more out of the way with window facing pool area…definitely not our 1st choice. Within 5 minutes later, another couple came in and I overheard hostess ask if they had reservations and they said “No”. They were seated at a table we had requested, next to windows facing ocean view. At that point we asked the hostess why they were seated there and she claimed that the original party had cancelled so she seated them there! We spoke to the restaurant manager and all he could say was I’m sorry…no attempt to move us to any of the tables that were available. We had our meal and left by 7:15. At that time, none of the tables for the party of 20 had arrived…still empty. We asked the hostess when they were arriving and she said 8:30! Needless to say, we were very disappointed in the lack of service we received and doubt we will ever return, even though we are locals that live part time on the island. Employees can make or break a restaurant!
