Sarova Stanley remains a well-known landmark in the center of Nairobi with the Thorn Tree Café and the famous message tree. This city center hotel has a convenient position amongst the busy shopping area of Nairobi. Most of the rooms at the Sarova overlook Nairobi, and all of them are elegantly decorated in classic style. They all have a seating area or separate living room with a satellite TV, and include a private bathroom.

I recently went to the pool restaurant and was quite disappointed with the service. Despite having sat for an extended period of time, the staff utterly disregarded me. What made the situation worse was witnessing the managers and chef eating at a table directly in front of me while I sat alone. I anticipated more from a facility with this reputation. Customer service is the foundation of every hospitality business, and my experience made me feel underappreciated as a visitor. I hope management takes this input seriously and implements strategies to prioritise customer service. Until then, I cannot suggest this place.

This is a heritage hotel several decades old. The rooms look dated but comfortable and fairly big. The bath was small though. The staff are friendly and engage with us freely. The lone restaurant serves local and mixed cuisine. Our stay here was comfortable. Location was good too.

I stayed at sarova Stanley for a business trip and i was disappointed, projector kept cutting out, and the sound system had constant issues, making it hard to hold a proper meeting. Staff were slow to respond, and the equipment was outdated, the laptop etc. For the price, I expected much better. Would not recommend for business events.

The services have improved significantly and l was very impressed. The check in was first and the juice was refreshing. I highly recommend this hotel. Susan the manager is out standing as always. Swahili breakfast in the thorn tree restaurant is very nice also

We visited with the intention of booking a room for my birthday and were fortunate to meet Ms. Carol, the brand ambassador. She gave us a fantastic tour of the hotel, sharing its rich history with such enthusiasm and detail that I couldn’t help but ask where she learned it all. She spoke as if the hotel were her own, and her warm smile and positive attitude made the experience unforgettable. The hotel itself is a beautifully maintained heritage property, where cleanliness and attention to detail are clearly a priority. We explored several hotels around Nairobi, but none came close to the charm and quality we found here. Highly recommended!.
