For over four years of coordinating group reservations for our conference of over 300 guests, we can confidently say this was the smoothest and most efficient check-in process we have ever experienced at Meritage Resort & Spa. Within just 30 minutes, every guest was checked in—an impressive achievement! This is the first time our team has been able to interact meaningfully with our guests during check-in, rather than dealing with delays or frustrations over room readiness. The staff’s diligence, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service truly elevated the experience for both our team and our attendees. We are incredibly grateful for the staff’s dedication to ensuring a flawless process, and we want to highlight the exceptional contributions of several individuals who made this happen. Their hard work and professionalism turned a typically stressful process into a seamless and memorable experience. Special shoutouts below: Andrea (Reservation Manager): Andrea is an EXCEPTIONAL and wonderful manager who provided invaluable support by promptly addressing all questions and concerns about the room list via email. She demonstrates a remarkable talent for making guests feel seen and valued, all while maintaining an authentic and approachable style. I truly appreciated her dedication and professionalism, and I hope her efforts are recognized and applauded on our behalf! Dani (Front Desk Manager): Dani is a PHENOMENAL and attentive manager who consistently checked in to ensure that our team overseeing the event had a smooth experience. Her willingness to handle last-minute changes to the rooming list and accommodate additional requests was invaluable. Dani encouraged open communication and provided a sense of calm, helping me manage a 300-guest room list with peace of mind. She also did a fantastic job organizing and managing the check-in lists. Her dedication and attention to detail were greatly appreciated! Xavier: Xavier went above and beyond at the end of check-in, patiently answering all my questions about the remaining number of guests and addressing any concerns. Their excellent communication and willingness to engage in discussions about plans for the following day made a challenging situation much more manageable. I truly appreciated their professionalism and support throughout the process. Jayden: As keys were being placed in the appropriate lines, I approached Jayden with a request to provide the associates’ names for the respective lines they would be assisting. Within just a few minutes, Jayden graciously and efficiently provided the list. Their attentiveness and quick response were greatly appreciated and added to the overall smoothness of the check-in process. Denzel: Denzel went above and beyond their role as the billing accountant to support our group in a truly thoughtful way. They enthusiastically assisted by directing students to the right bubbly and wine selections, ensuring everyone had a delightful experience. Their willingness to step outside of their usual responsibilities and find ways to support our time was both exciting and greatly appreciated. Denzel’s positive energy and commitment to making our event successful did not go unnoticed! Maria: The day prior to our group checked-in, Maria supported me to ensure our executive VIP guest had their room ready. I appreciate them ensuring I had a security walk me to the room to check and also she did a great job on doing a transfer room. I admire how willing they accommodate my requests. Also, while mentioning the 300 guests - she work with Alicia on ensuring our remaining guests from A-C were being checked in soon. Alicia: D-H We had the most joyful and heartwarming interactions with all our guests during check-in. The associate went above and beyond, greeting everyone with genuine warmth and sweetness while seamlessly directing them to their next steps. Their positivity set the perfect tone for the event! Amy: I-K The team demonstrated exceptional teamwork during the check-in process. With over 90 guests per line, they worked together effortlessly, ensuring accuracy and maintaining a positive atmosphere for everyone involved. Bill: L-M From start to finish, the associate provided seamless and efficient service, processing each guest with professionalism and warmth. Beyond their outstanding coordination during check-in, I had an individual conversation with one of them that truly stood out. They shared exceptional insights on sales and marketing, particularly on closing terms, which I deeply valued. I learned so much from that conversation, and it added a personal and impactful touch to an already flawless experience. Pedro: N- R Assisted the executive director seamlessly with the transfer of rooms by promptly coordinating with a bellman. Additionally, provided outstanding support to guests during the process, ensuring their needs were met with professionalism and care. This level of attention to detail and collaboration made the entire experience smooth and efficient. Elliot: S Thanks to the associates’ efficiency and friendly demeanor, the check-in process was completely stress-free. Handling such a large volume of guests can be challenging, but they made it look easy, creating a welcoming and professional environment. Tiffanie: T— Z The check-in process was a testament to the associates’ organizational skills and proactive approach. They anticipated guest needs, minimized wait times, and delivered a flawless experience for over 90 guests per line. Tauren: Security Guard Tauren demonstrated outstanding attentiveness and situational awareness throughout their shift. They remained vigilant and proactive, ensuring a safe and secure environment for everyone. Their professionalism and quick response to potential issues were truly commendable. Adelina: Memorable Musical Touch: The live piano performance throughout the check-in process added an unforgettable and elegant touch to the experience. It created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making the event truly special for the students. The music set the perfect tone and left a lasting impression on everyone present. Beautiful hotel, very clean and impressive service. The staff are remarkably well trained and willing to assist in any way to elevate the experience. Many gluten free options and the staff is extremely accommodating. It’s difficult to mention just one associate because everyone was above and beyond.

The property was beautiful. We stayed for 3 nights and had poor experience. Upon checking in the room had no soap or lotion to request in a crib upon making a reservation in at 10 o’clock at night and still no crib my second room housekeeping open the door with the do not disturb sign on at 10 am and stated that the room was supposed to be vacant. We had a package that we purchased upon checkout we wanted to make sure we got the resort credit and they stated that it wasn’t eligible and which made me feel like it was false advertising and what was offered in the package. Very disappointed I won’t be returning.

A, the room had a musty odor. It helped to open the balcony window in winter and run the exhaust fan . B. The prices for cash bar beverages was out of line too expensive. C. The staff was great.... A proper survey does not require a minimum character limit..

Good experience at Olive and Hay

Had dinner at olive and hay. Eunice was our server and she was great. She let us know suggestions of what we should consider in terms of ordering and kept us up to date on how long it would take for our meal to be ready. Food is as good. Highly recommend Olive and Hay!
