Reviews for River Terrace Inn, A Noble House Hotel

Nice Location, No Value for the Money

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

I was shocked to see that, at the hefty price we were paying per night, the hotel charged additional fees for absolutely, positively everything. Like $7 for a bottle of water in the room, $50 downstairs for a modest counter-order breakfast (was good, but not $50 kind of special), no room service, snack access or club room, etc., etc. Nice location, but not the be-all in options. I have worked around the world and stayed in exclusive and luxury hotels with a similar price range (and obviously much higher), and I have never seen one offer so little for the money. Rooms were nice, but not 'luxury' (and ours had no view available, so not even that value add). Plenty of beautiful, upscale hotels in Napa with a LOT more value for the money. (And yes, value matters even for people who stay in luxury hotels.) Will not be going back nor recommending it for anyone unless all of the above changes.

Relaxing birthday weekend

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for his 40th birthday. Even before we checked in we were impress by the staff and appreciated the upgrade to the king deluxe room that was given to us. We had an incredible room with a terrace overlooking the river. I highly recommend coming in fall to see all the colorful leaves. It was perfectly situation close to town and an easy walk to the Napa Valley Wine Train. We stayed for only one night but wish it was more. The food was also so delicious! We can’t wait to come back here

Great location

Comfortable and stylish hotel in a great location on the river. 10 min walk to downtown. Good bar on site with breakfast available. Would have liked also for some food options in the evening but Oxbow market is very close with lots of takeaway and eat-in options.

Great hotel in great location

River Terrace Inn was a beautiful hotel. Definitely recommend a river view room—so peaceful and beautiful. Restaurant breakfast wasn’t much so we never bothered but several great restaurants in walking distance. We also were able to do a bit longer but manageable walk to the downtown area most nights.
