LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort

My (now) wife and I have frequented LaPlaya over the years to enjoy sunsets on the beach with our favorite blood orange margarita and best Grouper tacos around. We love it so much we decided to get married at the resort and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The staff is incredibly attentive to the needs of its guests and strive to make every interaction special. If you’re looking for a boutique beach resort, look no further. We will be back for many years to come!

Planned a trip to Naples and decided on LaPlaya Beach and Golf resort on a recommendation and the fact it's directly on the beach. Wish I could report a good review. The resort rooms are tired.. stains on the rugs, broken toilet holders, light bulbs. Only 2 elevators for the tower and one was inoperable the entire visit. This created long waits from room to beach. On Saturday afternoon staff didn't want to open beach fire pits and when we finally got them to, they reported to us the outdoor torches were also inoperable. So much for ambiance. Silly things like no napkins at coffee bar and no staff member seemed to think it odd (just an "I'm sorry but we have no napkins).. Overall management and staff are ambivalent. The pictures online show a well cared for property and you assume a conscientious staff and that just isn't the case at all. Consider yourself warned and keep your expectations low if you choose to stay at this resort.

This hotel is extremely dated, the rooms are super beat up. Yet their rates are ridiculously high for the value you get. My shower didn’t originally work although it was later repaired. There was an elevator that was inoperable the time I was there. Do not spend your hard earned money at this place. It certainly is NOT a resort.

On 1/4/25 I had an appointment at SpaTerre at LayPlaya. I called that morning and was able to get a 50 min. deep tissue massage that afternoon. Theresa on the phone was lovely and accommodating, and provided me with instructions on how to locate the spa. When I arrived, she warmly greeted me even though I was a couple of minutes late. I met my masseuse Fernando, whom was very professional and made me feel comfortable. Fernando has magic hands! He was very thoughtful about amount of pressure and did a really great job of getting the knots out of my back! I highly recommend this clean, professional spa when visiting Naples!

Fabulous New Years Eve getaway!! Fantastic from minute we checked in!! Amazing room with terrific view!! Nicholas (manager at front desk) went above and beyond to make sure 2025 started out great!! Will definitely be returning as soon as we can!!
