Loews Vanderbilt Hotel

My stay at Loews would have been perfect if not for a very rude woman working at the reception desk during the night shift from November 18th to 20th. When I first approached her to ask about the gym, she simply looked at me and curtly said, "on the mezzanine floor," without any greeting or courtesy. It was 4am and I was jet lagged so I didn’t let this bother me. On the morning of November 21st though, as I was checking out early, she was at the desk finishing her paperwork and seemed annoyed by the need to assist me. She informed me that Apple Pay wasn't accepted, ignored my questions, and gave me the bill as if she was doing me a favour when I requested it. There was no "goodbye," "have a safe trip," or any offer of further assistance. I was appalled by the lack of service and basic civility. I expected more from Loews and their staff training. A friendly front desk staff seems fundamental to a positive guest experience. This one person's attitude significantly impacted my overall stay. Despite the great hotel and excellent gym, her behavior overshadowed the positives. I felt compelled to leave this feedback in the hope that improvements can be made. I wish I asked for her name, but I am sure this can be figured out. Being friendly to guests is just common decency - Do better!

Valet Joe was so friendly and helpful! Love the shuttle service, welcoming atmosphere and kindness! He went above and beyond. Highly recommend and don’t forget to stop by to meet Gary the best concierge ever! Gary also went above and beyond providing great recommendations and making our group feel welcome.

Great experience at Loews Vanderbilt! Beautifully comfortable rooms, immaculately clean, quiet and beds were amazing. Valet was super convenient, we used the shuttle service to quickly get to Broadway. Bar staff were very accommodating. Made good use of the outdoor patio area as well. Wonderful experience!

Best beds, best pillows, best linen, courteous and attentive staff. Food was incredible. Atmosphere in the lounge was calming. Excellent location close to everything and has a shuttle to take you to broadway and see all of the talented musicians in this area.

Smooth check in, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming from the minute we pulled up. The hotel bar was excellent and featured live entertainment, and an excellent selection of bourbon. We enjoyed breakfast on a few occasions in the restaurant, the eggs Benedict was great and the potato wedges were light and crispy, not your average breakfast side. Our rooms were a generous size, nice bath with glass walk-in shower, and then there’s the beds…….. THE most comfortable beds and linens you could imagine. Ideal after a long night of strolling Broadway and enjoying the live music and bars. All in all our time in Nashville was great and we only saw a small sample of the sights. We’ll be back for sure.
