Glad we came but you'll spend double what you planned

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 16 hours ago

Everything was really great. We were worried that it would be cold in January, and it was chilly the first two days. Then the same came out and we had a wonderful time snorkeling, riding the lazy river and swimming with dolphins the rest of the week. Everything was perfect, but everything is double or triple than what you would expect to pay. We went out for a fish fry and it was even more expensive than the meals in the resort because you have to pay taxi there and back. I would be tempted to come again, but I'll first see if I can find a place where the prices are not so high.

Just OK

Although my family and I had a great time and the dcor is nice and oppulent, it is extremely, extremely overly expensive. It should be ALL INCLUSIVE. Look out for hidden fees as there are many. I personally, would recommend someplace else...

Best experience

Nice resort ! Atlantis is a very unique experience with many activities for a beach resort. Very nice beaches and pools. It misses heated pools and hot tubs. The prices for dining are very expensive. The waterpark is very pleasant for the kids.

Beautiful, but multiple issues and expensive

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Room check in delayed by hours. Room card system was down until next morning. Refrigerator and tv remote broken. Expensive. Hard to get restaurant reservations. Pillows were bad. Cold in January. Beach was beautiful, but lots of trash. Was supposed to have two queen sized beds, but ended up with one bed and a pull out couch. Beautiful resort, but had issues and very expensive.

Two star hotel for 5 star price

Recently stayed at Atlantis, Reef. Our experience did not live up to expectations and hype 1. Staff - very apathetic and almost seemed annoyed to provide assistance 2. Food - we ate at Salinas and Chopstix. Very overpriced and un-inspired food. 3. Rooms - outdated and dirty. You can see rust accumulating along the water faucets/bath tub. Electrical outlets that do not work. 3. Hidden feeds - got charged $350 dollars for a reservation error that I am still trying to resolve. Tried to talk to staff there but kept on getting bounced around because nobody cares. We have had the opportunity to stay at luxury hotels/resorts along with cruises. Atlantis had the lowest value of the places that we have visited. Our family will take business elsewhere in the future.
