SLS Baha Mar

The best experience so far in my many years of traveling. It started with Miguel T at the front desk at SLS. He was very accommodating and from that point forward I knew this vacation for my family would be exceptional. I can’t wait to enjoy Bahar Mar again!

Our stay at SLS Baha Mar for our retreat was nothing short of spectacular! As an event planner, I’ve worked with many hospitality teams, but the banquet staff at SLS Baha Mar is truly the best I’ve ever worked with. Charmaine handled me with such care, ensuring every detail was seamless. Lynden, Saunders, Ashante, Felton, and Keith were absolute pros, making sure our needs were met flawlessly. A special shoutout to Carlos at the front desk for his professionalism and efficiency, and to the entire team who assisted with room drops—your dedication did not go unnoticed! And the food? Attendees are still raving about it! Chef Latoya completely outdid herself, delivering an incredible dining experience that elevated the entire retreat. SLS Baha Mar exceeded our expectations in every way, and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend this stunning property for anyone looking for a top-tier experience.

Here for a day so far and we’ve had to wait in a rope line just to get an elevator back to our room! They have four elevators and it seems like they need at least 8, this is a five star hotel here charging people a ton of money, and they can’t provide enough functional lifts! literally my wife and kids had to walk 10 stories to get to the room because the line was wrapping around the corner - again just to take the elevator back to our room. Same during the day leaving the pool. Spend your hard earned cash somewhere else trust me.

Use caution when booking over any holiday or holiday weekend. The resort CANNOT handle crowds. Front desk staff is poorest we’ve experienced at a luxury resort. Only staff worse are the hotel “directors”. Even if you address an issue nicely, you will be met with a whole lot of sas! No accountability from anyone. No one cares. Even if you are just requesting what you paid for… The hotel itself is falling apart. Our first room had recently been renovated and was extremely dirty and smelly. Bathrooms are a weird setup. Also elevators broke at one point in our stay and had to use stairs. If you’re set on experiencing Baha Mar, try the Hyatt or Rosewood instead. Goldwyn hotel nextdoor also looks GORGEOUS and more intimate. With all that said, the restaurant staff were SUPERB. Really provided a wonderful experience each time we dined. Also, the resort did offer some cool and fun activities for kids over the President’s Day weekend. But that was arranged by BAHAMAR, not SLS. Next time visiting the island we will likely stay at Atlantis again. Better waterpark and better rooms.

Hi. We had the pleasure of renting the cabana 41 at the water park. Shara Smith was not only responsive & professional but more importantly personable and that truly assisted in making our incredible day. I’d like her management team to recognize her for her great attributes.
