Fabulous, relaxed 8 days!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

My husband and I recently enjoyed an all inclusive Luxury Escapes package for 8 days. If your holiday goal is to relax and unwind, then this is the resort/package for you. The location of the resort is secluded with a beautiful beach, fabulous for daily walks and swims. The private Pool Terrace room, whilst a little tired and in need of a freshen up was comfortable, well equipped and ideally located to everything in the resort. The food and drinks included in the Luxury Escapes package were in abundance and we were left wanting for nothing. All staff are very friendly, helpful and thoughtful. Special thanks to May, Am, Nut, Pimmee, Ash, Wish and Kitty for their fabulous service. We recommend making all necessary currency exchanges prior to arrival at the resort as this facility is not available on site. The closest town is about 15 mins by hotel taxi (Charged at $30 return) where you can make any convenience store purchases at Tesco. Note that alcohol is not able to be purchased at Tesco from midnight to 11am and between 2pm and 5pm. We recommend the morning bike ride to the local temple (about 20 kms return) and participating in any of the resort activities there is something for everyone. Happy Hour and the swim up bar was a hit with everyone everyday! We experienced Aroma massage which was included in our package as well as a facial and foot massage, all of which were reasonably priced and a nice experience. Highly recommend Natai Beach Resort for a relaxing, do nothing, kind of holiday.

Lovely resort, but isolated.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We had 8 days at this resort for our 40th wedding anniversary. We arrived very late and we received NO welcome drink or cool towel which was disappointing. Room 115 garden room was lovely and cleaned 100% everyday, very spacious. Needs more coat hangers in cupboard. Not enough hooks to hang towels on in bathroom but I was very disappointed there was no clothes drying rack outside. Tried drying on line in bathroom but useless. Suggestion-Put a steel rod on the white garden fence for clothes, better and neater than everyone putting clothes on outside coffee table and couch and chair from inside.. Food was lovely except cut down on the chilli 🌶 being sooooo hot in food. Breakfast area needs an upgrade, better containers for food with lids. Bugs flying around food was off putting. Tea bags.....this was the only resort I've been to that has not many options of tea bags, I went 8 days with no green tea, and Lotus upermarket didn't have any either. Location beach was very beautiful but resort was isolated, the town, Khok Kloi is not very touristy, no where to buy clothes or gifts, the complimentary bus drops you off for 2 hours but after 30 mins you want to leave. The Biggest disappointment was the pool......it was turning green when we arrived so we couldn't swim in it, some did but thought they might get sick, but by the 7th day the algae was so dark green it was awful. I was looking forward to the pool as on google earth it was blue. Staff...were amazing and friendly, can't complain. Kitty and Rob taught me slacklining, awesome!! Had a nice time but Koh Samuii is a better location.

Secluded serenity and top service

The staff are wonderful- everyone from reception to grounds staff to the restaurant and the maintenance staff. They are so kind and accommodating that I can't speak highly enough of them. Khun Jenny made sure that I had a fantastic stay and I'm very grateful. I didn't like the beach house I booked and was hoping someone would cancel when I arrived so that I could upgrade to deluxe but they were all booked. Khun Jenny offered me a good deal for an upgrade to a deluxe suite and although I felt it's unnecessary for a solo traveller, once I saw it, I decided the extra was worth it because I'd be happy to wake up there and come back to it esch day. I did my stretches on the balcony, had long baths, enjoyed the strong water pressure and overall just really loved the clean, modern suite. There was an issue with the first suite and promptly I was able to change to another and was looked after very well for the inconvenience. The grounds are lovely, it is peaceful, the guests are normal and not rowdy (because there is nothing else around), there's plenty lounges on the beach front and at the pool. I walked way up the beach to the jetty and didnt pass anyone except local fishermen on the jetty. The beach is beautiful and clean. The pool is also lovely. The restaurant serves good quality food - be prepared to wait but it is worth it. You can also go a little up the beach to a seafood place which is great value but not the same standard as the resort. I recommend the sea bass, salmon and the Asian dishes. All looked good though. I had an amazing 4 days (long weekend trip from Bangkok) and I'll definitely return. It is easy to get a Bolt or Grab ride from the airport but for the way back, only a Grab or private transfer and its around thb1000. There is no 7-Eleven around so ask the driver to stop at one on the way if you want to pick up snacks. If you want to go to Similan Islands, it's just 45 mins to the pier and maybe better than staying in Khao Lak. I'd say the resort is a solid 4-star and I highly recommend it.

Excellent stay

Moved to Natai Beach Resort on our final day in Natai and immediately wished we had spent our entire stay in this lovely resort. Staff were excellent in their service, very welcoming, friendly and professional. The hotel grounds were very well maintained with a nice pool area Rooms were very clean with a nice balcony with pool and sea views. The beach is very nice, a gentle slope and crystal clear water. Also a lovely sunset views. A special mention for the restaurant manager Jeena and her staff, especially Pooko. They were super welcoming and accommodating. They made dinner memorable and out last night in Natai special.

Amazing big hotel near beach with nice staff!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I was very happy with my stay at Natai Beach Resort. The hotel is amazing, very big, with beautiful beach and nice restaurants. The staff are so nice! Everyone made my stay so special. Special thank you to Jenny from reception! My room was big and clean, with amazing view to the pool area. Bathroom was clean with a bathtub, water pressure very strong. Restaurants are so nice with yammy food, they have theme dinings: I visited Italian dinner and Thai dinner, amazing. On the beach there is option to take a kayak for a ride free of charge. I’m so so happy with my stay at Natai, definitely recommend the hotel! Irina, Australia.
