The Mount Nevis Hotel

Occasionally you find a hotel that gives you a nice homely feeling in a beautiful destination. Nevis and the Mount Nevis hotel are that combination. I had an ocean view room and the view is stunning. The rooms are extremely homely - I could have quite easily stayed there for a few months! Equipped with kitchenette, lovely furniture, very comfortable beds and a nice patio area. The hotel is quiet and peaceful which is perfect for Nevis. The food was also excellent and the restaurant is on a terrace with a great view. I particularly recommend their fish dishes. It’s not perfect - there are a few things I’d changes but these are relatively minor. The sunbeds aren’t that comfortable. They have a bar underneath which digs into your back. I am also used to getting bottled water replaced daily if it is not recommended to drink the tap water. They give you water on arrival but not after that. Also, it’s a pity they don’t do breakfast included - the a la carte breakfast menu is quite expensive. Nearly $20 for a small bowl of oats and an orange juice. That said, the staff were lovely, particularly Christina who was very helpful. Nevis was beautiful and the Mount Nevis hotel is a great choice if you’re going there.

We just returned from Mount Nevis and wish we extended our stay even longer. We have traveled to Nevis multiple times and each time have chosen to stay at Mount Nevis. So many aspects of the hotel make it a perfect place to travel to - the unforgettable views, excellent food & menu, the property (from the suites to the pool), and the friendly & reliable staff that makes you feel like home. In addition, the hotel can coordinate it all. We flew into St Kitts airport and transferred to Mount Nevis from there. Each step (10 minute taxi and 6 minute water taxi) was coordinated by Mount Nevis (both to & from) without any issues. Once there, they can help coordinate rental cars, day excursions, and more. We can't wait to return.

Our family of five had an absolutely perfect stay at the Mount Nevis Hotel! The rooms were spacious, clean, and well air-conditioned. We were able to book two adjoining rooms to accommodate our family, (one of which had a kitchen), and included multiple balconies overlooking the ocean and grounds. We enoyed our morning coffee on our private patio, watching the animals graze on the pastures. We were made to feel special by Noreen, her family, and her staff, who were happy to arrange a rental car, a snorkling excursion, and an ATV tour of the island especially for us. The main lounge and dining rooms are beautiful, and our meals here were fantastic. When we wanted to venture out, Noreen gave us great recommendations for other restaurants, beaches, and sightseeing. We can't recommend the Mount Nevis Hotel enough! We will definitely visit again!

If you are looking for that true laid back nevision vibe, but still want to feel pampered this is the place to be! Clean rooms with a view (we had both ocean and peak view from our balcony). The restaraunt has a lovely atmosphere and the friendliest staff! We felt welcomed from day one and enjoyed a great week here, will definitely recommend!

Step away from the world and recharge your batteries. Enjoy the tropical breezes on your spacious balcony/patio. Partake of returning Chef Vicente's succulent offerings in the restaurant. Admire the breathtaking view from the elevated location. With only the occasional braying of a distant donkey and cooing of the Mourning Doves to disturb your peace, this is the place to relax. Every staff member is friendly and accommodating and strives to make your comfort their concern. (To be fair, sometimes you can see and hear a propellor aircraft taking off from the airport reminding you the world is waiting for your return. You needn't hurry home.)
