We are very grateful that our friends invited us to join them for a few days at the Hermitage Inn. It is such a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere. It's quite serene among all the vegetation and various animals, including monkeys, goats, roosters and chicken. The food is fabulous, great warm breakfast (cooked to order), and the dinners are worthy of 5/5 stars. Friday night it is Pizza for dinner. BTW, definitely one of the best pizza I have ever tasted. Richie and the staff are extremely friendly and nice, and always smiling .... Thank you All‼️

We arrived on the 9am ferry from St Kitts and decided we'd check out the location of our hotel before exploring the island. Really not difficult as there is just one main road around the island. I can understand why the Hermitage Hotel has such amazing reviews, the hotel is absolutely stunning and certainly does not disappoint. An added bonus, fortunately for us, our room was ready and we were able to check in early. Our room, what can I say, just spectacular. Within a loft buiding, Carridge House, had a partial seaview, over looked a beautiful lush green garden and surrounds. Late afternoon the garden was populated by the local cheeky monkeys, running and climbing amok, the curious ones up on the roof opposite, checking us out, the new arrivals. In the evening we had delicious dinner, which included a complimentary rum punch and in the morning, a delicious cooked breakfast, which set us up for the day. Initially had only booked one night but ended staying for two. Thanks has to be given to all staff at The Hermitage behind the scenes and front of house (Richie - proprietor, Jamila, Shawn) as they certainly enhance the experience.

We had a family reunion. The staff were friendly and very accomdating. The food was nice and the drive up to the centre showed it's amazing history. I would recommend it to friends and family who visit Nevis and I look forward to our next family reunion so we can once again enjoy our family get together at the Heritage Centre.

We had a wonderful stay at The Hermitage Plantation Inn. From the welcome rum punch, to all the wonderful gourmet dinners, to the secluded and peaceful porch where my wife spent most her time reading...an excellent experience, and one which we will need to do again.
