The Leela Palace New Delhi

The Leela Palace in Delhi is a hotel of grandeur. The architecture impresses. The lobby is majestic. There is elegance in the materials, the rooms, and the service flow. And yet, compared to other properties we stayed at, it felt slightly rough around the edges. There is an energy here—more lively, less restrained. The experience leans toward boldness over subtlety, which may appeal to many, but was noticeable to us after visiting more composed environments. Service was helpful and attentive, but occasionally inconsistent. Some moments were excellent, others slightly reactive. It’s a team with experience, but perhaps more focused on presence than refinement. That said, we appreciated the effort. `staff were kind, responsive, and eager to please. Dining was enjoyable. The setting is beautiful, and the attention to presentation is evident. It is a property that offers luxury in a confident, expressive tone. Less about silence, more about statement. For guests who appreciate vibrancy over restraint, it will deliver well. The thai food is a really Thai taste here as at Leela Palace, Mr. Thong Chef with 14 years experience has cooked our dinner a real authentic Thai ! Thai crispy crab Omelette, stir fry pork with basil and Tom yam Koong are yummy👍 Don’t miss if you are here in Delhi

I came to India for the first time for a wedding. I was booked at another hotel but switched to this based on my friend recommendation for an Indian hospitality hotel, This place did not disappoint and is fantastic! The minute you walk in the door, the staff are very attentive and friendly. The hotel looks and smells beautiful! Their service is amazing and the location is great. I came back from sightseeing and when I got back there was a note saying we noticed you like to read - I had a book sitting out - and they left a bookmark for me! All I can say is thank you for being part of making my first trip to India memorable!

Out of my many stays at leela properties in India, this felt like coming back home. The rooms are comfortable, buffet breakfast is good- shoutout to Mr. Puneet at breakfast for being attentive and catering to my needs. I will definitely be back soon.

2nd visit to the Leela Palace for business. The experience has always been spectacular. Upon arrival at the Delhi Airport, Leela representatives were waiting for me at 1AM with my name on a placard. After a short drive from the airport to the hotel, I was greeted by the staff and completed my check-in. Security is evident throughout the hotel to help guests feel safe and secure during their stay. The room was more than oppulent, and I settled in quickly. The hotel staff were very prompt in keeping my room clean. Ranveer would continually ask if there was anything he could do to make the room more enjoyable. Once I explained that this was a business trip and that I would be back in a few months, he made sure to point out other hotel highlights. Where Ranveer went above and beyond is when I mentioned that I loved the Tishya fragrance, which is predominant around the hotel. As a result, Ranveer had a spray mist delivered to my room so that when I am home I can have reminders about my stay at the Leela Palace. Just when it could not get better, my room was cleaned while I was out and Sonam kept noticing that I left my eyeglasses on the desk. When I returned he left a note about my glasses and an eye glass pouch to secure my glasses in the future. It is this type of service that ensures I will continue to stay at the Leela Palace in the future. The restaurants were top notch. I have tried each restaurant and cannot provide any negative. My preference is The Qube buffet as breakfast and dinner have many options (Indian and International). Ayan and Himanshu were very attentive to every guest needs. It may appear as if the wait staff are constantly running around, but this is the result of them finding out what guests need and quickly taking care of the request.
