The Lodhi

I stayed at the Lodhi Hotel from March 15 to March 20 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel recognized this special event with balloons in the room and a tasty cake. I really appreciated this recognition and thoughtfulness! I stayed in a Garden Terrace room, which was FANTASTIC. Stylish furniture, comfortable bed, and a huge bathroom. I also really liked the calm vibe/atmosphere of the hotel, which made returning from hectic days very welcoming. No convention-like atmosphere -- it is an oasis. The breakfast buffet also was great. In addition to a vast fixed memo, there also is a buffet set-up where some of the dishes are changed daily (you can enjoy both the fixed menu and the buffet at Elan restaurant in the included breakfast). Never got bored with the vast selection and all of the food was really tasty! I am glad the Lodhi has a large and exceptionally well equipped gym; otherwise, I would not have been able to fit into my clothing given the amount of food I ate. Not only are the physical aspects of the hotel wonderful, but the staff is also marvelous. Very professional, helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. From the persons who greeted us in the driveway, to the staff at the front desk, to house-keeping. A special thank you to Kalpak at Elan for taking great care of us!! Thank you for introducing to us a variety of Indian food. In sum, this is one of the best hotels I have every stayed at, and I would consider another trip to Delhi just to have a further Lodhi experience. I have no hesitations in recommending this hotel!!

A wonderfully discreet and luxurious hotel. An oasis of calm in central Delhi. Lovely modern decor with large rooms, a good size pool and an excellent Spa. Fabulous service all round and a special mention to Chirag the Chief Concierge, who went over and above to ensure our stay, tours of Delhi and subsequent travels around The Golden Triangle, were seamless - with the help of Naresh The Lodhi chauffeur - calm and punctual at all times. Dinner at Indian Accent adjacent to the hotel not to be missed either, for the very best modern Indian dining. Thank you, we shall return!

5 on 5. Daksh provides us with exemplary service and explained us on delicacies to try. The ambience is mesmerising and a perfect setting to dine with my family. Overall we are elated with the experience at Elan. We were lucky to enjoy outdoor seating in a serene weather.

We’re staying at the Lodhi and decided to try their Elan restaurant. We were guided through the menu by the knowledgeable and professional Ajeet Ranjeet. All aspects of the meal including the service were excellent. The menu has an extensive food and drinks list. Highly recommended!
