Reviews for The Oberoi, New Delhi

King and Queen treatment

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 14 hours ago

The hospitality at this hotel was really spectacular. There was nothing that was too much to ask. The buffet on Saturday at 360 was truly exceptional both because the food choices were excellent but also because the staff were so anxious to please and brought items they thought we would like. Very pleased with the staff and beautiful hotel.

The Must Stay Hotel at NEW DELHI

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

The Hotel has the best trained Staff in the Hospitality industry, who not only takes care of the Guests ,but also the Reputation and well being of the HOTEL Group. All the activities at the HOTEL are tailor made to suffice the needs of the Guests ,with Individual customization. For my case, since it was my Anniversary, the Hotel staff took all the extra efforts to not only wish me and my wife, but also presented a Beautiful Bouquet of roses during the entry along with a personally signed card ,signed by all the seniors of the various departments of the Hotel. The Room was beautifully decorated for us to celebrate the important occasion ,but with privacy. Mention here can be made of the Rose petals strewn on portions of the room and in the Bathtub, along with a Cake and a runner on the Bed with the HAPPY ANNIVERSARY writing on the same. The food being served during the Lunch was also perfect and quick, unlike at other reputed Hotels of the same category. The Menu was also unique and portions were also very well maintained to fill our appetite and also at the same time to avoid any wastage. The Breakfast Menu was not only uniquely done ,but the Chefs were always available to explain the Nutritional values of the food being served. I specially liked the COCONUT WATER,BAKED EGG and SPANISH Omelet in the Menu. The Pick and Drop at the Airport was very smooth and it helped us to save a lot of Transit time, giving us more time to spend on ourselves. It is the BEST Hotel, I have stayed at so far, far ahead of the TAJ Hotels and even Oberoi Gurugram and Oberoi Grand at Kolkata. Strive to go back again to see further Innovations.

Brilliant property and excellent staff who makes you feel special!

I recently travelled for a wedding to New Delhi and stayed at The Oberoi - New Delhi, an amazing Property in the most prime location in Delhi. The Staff at the hotel is simply amazing and stand for what Oberoi is known for- always ready to make sure the stay comfortable and enjoyable. So, one of the nights I had a severe stomach ache one of nights and it unbearable, the staff was so helpful and assisted promptly and called their in-house Doctor for consultation and provided the medication. Really thankful for that. The food spread at the breakfast was simply delicious. The services provided at the Residents Lounge is great and Tamar was always available to take care. Looking forward to the next trip to Delhi.

Memorable stay!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The ambiance is perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to make my experience even better. The buffet itself was a delightful mix of flavors, offering a variety of both local and international options that cater to all tastes.. Special mention to chef Harshall, who was incredibly welcoming during breakfast. He took the time to introduce me to different Indian breakfast dishes and helped me try some new flavors that I hadn't experienced before. I highly recommend this place for both its hospitality and the wonderful food. Will definitely be returning!

Air, elegance, and excellence

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

I stayed here in room 534 (a "Premier Room") for three nights in January 2025. Rating: 9/10 Positives: • The level of customer service at The • is unparalleled, rivaling only the best hotels globally. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly courteous and friendly. • The hotel’s heavily promoted air filtration system lived up to the hype, transforming it into a sanctuary from Delhi’s notoriously poor air quality. While the outdoor Air Quality Index soared past 400, my room maintained an astonishingly low AQI of 6. This feature is a game-changer, especially for those sensitive to air quality. • The breakfast buffet was exceptional, offering a wide range of both Western and Indian dishes, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. Room service meals also maintained the same high quality. • The concierge service was outstanding, particularly in arranging chauffeured drivers. The airport transfer included in my room rate was seamless, and hiring a private driver (Rishi) for a trip to Agra was effortless. While the cost of 760,000 rupees was high, it was worth it for the convenience and professionalism. • My room was impeccably clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the reasonable pricing, especially considering the level of luxury provided—likely influenced by local economic factors. • The check-in process was remarkably swift and efficient, which was much appreciated after my 27-hour travel day. I was greeted with a fragrant orange lei and escorted to my room, where the check-in was completed via tablet—a thoughtful and efficient touch I wish more hotels adopted. • The spa provided a thoroughly relaxing 90-minute “Signature Massage” at an affordable price, while the gym was spacious, well-equipped, and staffed by friendly attendants. • The in-room iPad made ordering room service and managing other amenities a breeze, adding a modern and convenient touch to the stay. Negatives: • Although the airport transfer was included in my room rate, no one reached out to confirm or coordinate the service in advance. I had to contact the hotel proactively, after which the arrangements were easily made. This proactive communication could have enhanced the experience. • Some room features felt slightly dated, such as the physical signs for “Do Not Disturb” or “Service Room.” These required precise placement to avoid interfering with the door frame, which felt unnecessarily cumbersome. • My shower did not produce any cold water – the coolest temperature was actually quite hot. This wasn't too big of a deal for me but could be frustrating for other guests.
