Just had a wonderful tour of the pool area and rooftop with Earl, the Hotel Monteleone Pool Operator. Wonderful history and facts about the great city (also room is wonderful in the new Iberville Tower!). Great location, great bar, great decor.

I had a wonderful time attending a wedding at the Monteleone and staying there! The event spaces were perfect for wedding ceremony and reception, the staff was friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and the accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. The Monteleone hit it out of the park!

The room we stayed in was in the new building which was recently renovated and it was beautiful.Rooms have complementary water and toiletries too. The location is very good as its in the middle of everything but still 2 blocks from it so you dont hear the noise much.

It's an old historic hotel in a great location just a block from Bourbon Street and two blocks to Canal Street. In my experience a lot of historic hotels are not in tip top shape. This one was. Room was well appointed and very comfortable. Heating and air worked well. Staff was efficient and friendly. Good place for a New Orleans visit. It was very expensive to park at the hotel.

Oh! The Hotel Monteleone is a very very special place. The Jewel in the Crown...superb location...outstanding staff...Both Bar and Restaurant are very popular. Housekeeping is impeccable. Avoid Rooms Facing the Street/Front Door...at 0700 some "musician" was trying to play music. Then, one night, there was the Parade replete with a noisy band...that went on and on. Lobby Bar- The French Fries with White Truffles were divine,..love the bar...Discovered the Pelican Restaurant mere steps away, Great. ...walked to and from Pat O''s..Boy! the sidewalks are very, very uneven...conducive to trippping. Note: FatBoys Pizza is perfect - close and great big slices... A Superb Hotel.
